科学隐喻的认识论功能及意义

【摘要】:隐喻研究是当代诸多哲学家关注的重点问题之一,随着越来越多的学者们的介入,人们开始尝试着从各个不同的角度对隐喻问题进行分析和论述。最早对隐喻问题的研究可以追溯到古希腊罗马时期,那时隐喻问题就已经开始为人们所关注了,西方哲学史上具有里程碑式的人物亚里士多德是哲学发展史上第一个对隐喻进行专门研究并尝试解释其内涵与本质的学者,为人们今后研究隐喻问题提供了一个基础和方向,他从修辞学角度对该问题的研究甚至影响了西方2000多年对这个问题的看法。之后西方思想界开始从不同角度对这个问题进行了研究,而且可以说是五花八门,而隐喻的科学性问题日益被人们提到议事日程上来,怎么样才能更好地说清楚隐喻的科学性就成为人们不得不正视的问题。 隐喻的科学性问题是人们不断深入研究的结果,同时对人们思想理论的研究有着重要的意义,从产生之初就被人们赋予了极其重要的地位,例如亚里士多德就将它视为是修辞学领域中的重大发现,给它赋予了深刻的理解,对后世的影响也是极为深远的。随着人类社会科学的不断发展,人们发现我们离经验观察越来越远,在我们发现的宏观领域科学发现和微观领域科学发现中,我们都不能够用逻辑推理的理性方法和直接观测的方法来得出科学结论,这既是知识的局限也是技术的局限,因此我们就不得不依靠其他诸如修辞学等手段来进行多种方法的研究,于是科学隐喻的简洁性、审美性和创造性就既成为了激励科学不断前进和发展的动力,同时也成为人们用以辅助发现的新工具,还成为了人们进行科学发现判断的重要依据。 国内对隐喻问题的研究主要是在20世纪80年代以后,随着国外认知语言学研究的浪潮不断开始涌入我们国家,主要由中国社科院语言研究所承办的杂志《国外语言学》在介绍众多国外新兴语言学理论方面扮演着主要的角色。我们国内的语言学研究者在对当代西方隐喻理论进行引入的同时,结合汉语的特点对它进行了深刻的研究,使得二者能够进行互证、互补,为隐喻理论的发展作出应有的研究和贡献。本文尝试着从认识论视域出发,对科学隐喻的相关认识论知识进行研究,使人们研究科学隐喻的视角和方法得到了极大的扩展,为人们提供了新的研究视域。
[Abstract]:The study of metaphor is one of the most important issues that many philosophers pay attention to. With the intervention of more and more scholars, People begin to try to analyze and discuss metaphor from different angles. The earliest study of metaphor can be traced back to the ancient Greek and Roman period, when the question of metaphor began to be concerned by people. Aristotle, a landmark figure in the history of western philosophy, is the first scholar in the history of philosophy to study metaphor and try to explain its connotation and essence, which provides a foundation and direction for people to study metaphor in the future. His study of the problem from a rhetorical point of view even influenced the views of the West on this issue for more than 2000 years.After that, Western ideological circles began to study the issue from different angles, and it can be said that there are a variety of ways. However, the scientific nature of metaphor has increasingly been put on the agenda, how to better explain the scientific nature of metaphor has become a problem that people have to face up to. The scientific problem of metaphor is the result of people's continuous in-depth research, and it has important significance to the study of people's thought theory, and has been given an extremely important position by people from the beginning of its emergence. Aristotle, for example, regarded it as a major discovery in the field of rhetoric, gave it a profound understanding, and had a profound impact on later generations. People find that we are farther and farther away from empirical observation. In the scientific discoveries we find in the macro and micro fields, we cannot draw scientific conclusions by rational methods of logical reasoning and direct observation. This is both the limitation of knowledge and the limitation of technology, so we have to rely on other means, such as rhetoric, to study various methods, so the simplicity of scientific metaphor. Aesthetics and creativity have not only become the motive force to stimulate the development of science, but also become a new tool for people to assist discovery, and become an important basis for people to judge scientific discovery. Since 1980s, the study of metaphor in China has started to pour into our country with the tide of foreign cognitive linguistics research. Foreign Linguistics, a magazine mainly sponsored by the Institute of language Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, plays a major role in introducing many foreign emerging linguistic theories. At the same time as it was introduced, Combined with the characteristics of Chinese, this paper makes a profound study on it, which enables them to prove each other and complement each other, and make due research and contribution to the development of metaphor theory. This paper attempts to proceed from the perspective of epistemology. The research on the epistemological knowledge of scientific metaphor has greatly expanded the perspective and method of scientific metaphor and provided a new research horizon for people.
