电视娱乐节目中的汉英语码转换的顺应性研究

【摘要】:语言的语码转换是一种会话策略,是指谈话者在交流过程中,从一种语言转换到另一种语言,以更好地实现交际目的。语码转换现象是当今世界跨文化交流和语言接触的自然产物,近年来备受语言学家的关注,国内外学者从不同的方向对这一现象进行了不同广度和深度上的探讨。其中,语用学方向的研究具有较强的解释力和广泛的适用性。 本文采用语用学的研究路向,以维索尔伦(Jef Verschuren)的语言顺应论为基础,运用于国栋的语码转换顺应模式,对中国电视娱乐节目中的汉英语码转换现象进行了系统的分析与研究。本文主要采用定性研究的研究方法,重点对节目参与者的语码转换的语用功能进行细致的分析,并验证于国栋的语码转换顺应模式能否有效地解释电视娱乐节目中的汉英语码转换现象。研究表明,节目的参与者使用语码转换是为了更好地进行交流,更好地融入并活跃节目气氛。 本文的研究可以概括为两大层面:1、语码转换的被动顺应(电视娱乐节目中语言使用者为顺应语言现实和社会规约进行的语码转换),2、语码转换的主动顺应(为顺应心理动机和娱乐节目风格进行的语码转换)。于国栋认为,语码转换是说话者在交际过程中不断进行语言选择的结果,,而进行语言选择就是为了顺应语言现实、社会规约和心理动机。本研究表明:电视娱乐节目中,语码转换的被动顺应是为了适应中国特定语言环境里汉英语言现实和中国社会的规约,而主动顺应则是为了顺应交际者的心理动机与中国电视娱乐节目的表现风格。与此同时,语码转换作为一种交际策略也实现了包括填补概念和语义空缺,提供方便,表达强调,提升社会地位,回避禁忌,含蓄表达,拉近心理距离,保持颜面和缓和语气,寻求时尚,释放心理压力,制造幽默以吸引观众等诸多语用功能。本研究不但丰富了关于中国电视娱乐节目中汉英语码转换的实例研究,而且验证了于国栋的语码转换顺应模式在研究电视娱乐节目中语码转换现象中的适用性和解释力。再者,本研究还可以帮助人们进一步加深对语码转换现象的理解,进而更好地适应跨文化交流的热潮。
[Abstract]:The code-switching of a language is a conversational strategy, which refers to the speaker's conversion from one language to another in the process of communication, in order to achieve the communicative purpose better. The phenomenon of code-switching is the natural product of cross-cultural communication and language contact in the world. In recent years, many linguists have paid close attention to the phenomenon. Scholars at home and abroad have discussed this phenomenon from different angles in different breadth and depth. Among them, the study of pragmatics has strong explanatory power and wide applicability. Based on Verschuren's linguistic adaptation theory and Yu Guodong's code-switching adaptation model, this paper makes a systematic analysis and research on the Chinese-English code-switching phenomenon in Chinese TV entertainment programs. This paper mainly adopts the qualitative research method, focusing on the detailed analysis of the pragmatic functions of the program participants' code-switching. It also verifies whether Yu Guodong's code-switching adaptation mode can effectively explain the Chinglish code conversion phenomenon in TV entertainment programs. The results show that the program participants use code-switching for better communication, better integration and active program atmosphere. The research in this paper can be summarized as two levels: 1, passive adaptation of code-switching (code-switching in TV entertainment programs for adaptation of linguistic reality and social rules), and active adaptation of code-switching. The code-switching between psychological motivation and entertainment style. Yu Guodong believes that code-switching is the result of the speaker's continuous language selection in the process of communication, and language selection is to conform to linguistic reality, social conventions and psychological motives. This study shows that in TV entertainment programs, the passive adaptation of code-switching is to adapt to the Chinese-English language reality and the rules of Chinese society in the specific language environment of China. Active adaptation is to adapt to the communicator's psychological motivation and the performance style of Chinese TV entertainment programs. At the same time, code-switching, as a communicative strategy, includes filling conceptual and semantic gaps, providing convenience, expressing emphasis, promoting social status, avoiding taboos, implying expressions, narrowing psychological distance, maintaining face and easing tone. Seeking fashion, releasing psychological pressure, creating humor to attract audience and many other pragmatic functions. This study not only enriches the case study of Chinese-English code conversion in Chinese TV entertainment programs, but also verifies the applicability and explanatory power of Yu Guodong's code-switching adaptation model in the study of code-switching phenomena in TV entertainment programs. Furthermore, this study can help people to better understand the phenomenon of code-switching and adapt to the upsurge of cross-cultural communication.
