论旅游介绍性文本的翻译——以西安为例

【摘要】:随着全球化时代的到来,旅游业在经济及文化的发展当中扮演起日趋重要的角色。中国地大物博,旅游资源丰富,发展旅游业得天独厚。近年来,大批外国游客为中国的文化及旅游特色所吸引而涌向中国。旅游业的迅速发展同时也决定了旅游翻译这一重要的桥梁在今后促进我国旅游业及传播中国特色文化的过程中所肩负起的重大责任。 然而,经笔者调查研究发现,现在的旅游翻译质量不容乐观,严重影响了外来游客对我国文化历史的理解,同时,也不利于我国旅游业的发展。 功能派的翻译理论给我们的旅游介绍性文本翻译带来了很大的启示。功能派翻译理论认为,目标文本的功能及目的应在目标语读者当中发挥出来。鉴于中文旅游介绍性文本多采用丰富的形式和各种各样的审美因素来达到吸引游客的目的,笔者认为有必要将功能理论与美学思想结合来指导旅游介绍性文本的翻译。 笔者走访了西安各大著名旅游景点,,搜集了旅游翻译的第一手资料,同时从网络,书籍等其他媒体也收集了大量西安市的旅游类文本翻译资料,并立足于这些资料,研究了旅游介绍性文本的翻译问题,进而提出一些可行性的翻译策略,如增译、类比、直译加注释、删减法等等。 文章最后得出结论,以功能理论为指导,充分借鉴美学思想,再辅以适当的翻译策略不失为中文旅游介绍性文本英译的好方法。 本文虽是尝试性研究,但以小见大,必将为形成高质量的旅游文本的翻译提供一些启示和借鉴,同时对我国旅游翻译的规范也具有一定参考价值。笔者相信,旅游文本翻译质量的提高,无论是对我国在国际社会中树立起良好形象,还是扩大我国旅游业在国际旅游市场上的地位都将具有深远的影响。
[Abstract]:With the advent of globalization, tourism plays an increasingly important role in the development of economy and culture. China is rich in resources and resources, and the development of tourism is unique. In recent years, a large number of foreign tourists have been attracted by China's cultural and tourist characteristics. The rapid development of tourism also determines the great responsibility of tourism translation as an important bridge in the process of promoting tourism and spreading Chinese characteristic culture in the future. However, the author finds that the quality of tourism translation is not optimistic, which seriously affects the foreign tourists' understanding of our culture and history, and it is also not conducive to the development of our tourism industry. The functionalist translation theory has brought great enlightenment to our tourism introductory text translation. The functional translation theory holds that the function and purpose of the target text should be brought into play among the target readers. In view of the rich forms and various aesthetic factors used in Chinese tourism introductory texts to attract tourists, the author thinks that it is necessary to combine functional theory with aesthetic ideas to guide the translation of tourist introductory texts. The author visited various famous tourist attractions in Xi'an and collected first-hand information on tourism translation. At the same time, from other media such as Internet, books and other media, he also collected a large number of tourist text translation materials from Xi'an, and based on these materials. This paper studies the translation of tourist introductory texts and puts forward some feasible translation strategies, such as incremental translation, analogy, literal translation and annotation, deletion and so on. Finally, it is concluded that, guided by functional theory, drawing full reference from aesthetic thoughts and supplemented by appropriate translation strategies, it is a good way to translate Chinese tourist introductory texts into English. Although this paper is a tentative study, it can be seen from a small part that it will provide some enlightenment and reference for the formation of high-quality tourism text translation, and it will also have some reference value for the norms of tourism translation in China. The author believes that the improvement of the quality of tourism text translation will have a profound impact on the establishment of a good image of China in the international community and on the expansion of the status of our tourism industry in the international tourism market.
