基于翻译适应选择论的译者主体性研究

在过去的半个世纪中,翻译理论得到了重大发展,翻译理论学者们更青睐于跨学科的研究。他们把其他学科的研究成果引入翻译研究,为翻译研究增添新鲜的血液,使得翻译理论内容更加丰富,更有活力,更有助于翻译学的建立和发展。与此同时,译者的地位,翻译策略的选择以及翻译批评的标准一直都是翻译研究中最具争议的问题。实际上,译者的翻译作品应该是忠于原文的形式还是内容?他要达到的翻译效果是传达原语文化还是去适应译语文化?他要实现原文作者的写作目的还是要满足译文读者的期望?作为翻译要素中关键—环的译者所做出的不同选择,将会对翻译结果起到关键性的作用。随着翻译研究的蓬勃发展,在这样复杂的翻译研究环境下,胡庚申教授借鉴达尔文进化论的核心“适应和选择”,以宏观的视角来探讨翻译的过程,并提出了翻译适应选择论,从而希望如实地反映和再现翻译实践活动。本文运用胡庚申教授的理论,对简爱的两个中译版本进行比较,意在运用实例来说明该理论的可行性。实际上,自从该理论被提出以来,已经有一些翻译学者对其进行了研究,并认为这个理论是一部简约创新之作,它是别开生面的理论建构。还有些学者尝试用该理论来解释《论语》、《天演论》、《浮生六记》等翻...
