图式理论观照下的非数量数字翻译

　　数字作为一种特殊的语言符号,广泛地存在于语言中,成为语言的重要组成部分。然而,由于受文化传统、思维观念,宗教信仰等影响,在各民族中逐渐被赋予了丰富的文化内涵,使其在语言实际运用过程中,不仅表示数学概念和计数功能,而且还具有非数量的性质和特殊的文化功能。国内外对英汉数字的文化含义进行了广泛而深入的研究,但对于这些非数量性质数字的翻译研究还甚少。本研究旨在以图式理论来阐释英汉语中非数量数字的翻译过程,为英汉语中非数量数字翻译提供新视角。其研究语料是红楼梦和日常生活中的数字。数字蕴含着丰富的文化内涵,特定语境中的非数量数字的理解需要译者认知思维的参与。所以翻译不仅是一种语言活动,也是一种复杂的思维活动。因此笔者借助图式理论从认知心理语言学的角度,具体探析了非数量数字的理解和表达的过程,试图说明译者如何才能更好地对源语图式进行解码并在目的语中重新编码,怎样才能较好地解读数字丰富的文化内涵,避免对特定语境中数字的误解,以及在重新编码中怎样才能有利于激活译语读者相关图式更好地促进文化交流。关于图式理论在非数量数字的翻译理解中的运用,笔者先阐述了图式理论在翻译理解中的具体运作,并论证了图式理论指导非...
