中美情景喜剧中恭维语的跨文化对比研究

　　随着国际交流的日益频繁,跨文化交际能力的培养和提高也日趋重要。恭维语是人们日常交际中频繁出现的一种礼貌言语行为。然而,在全球化加快的当今社会,拥有不同文化背景的人们对恭维语的理解和使用也不尽相同。本研究通过对中美情景喜剧中恭维语的异同进行对比分析,揭示隐藏在这一言语行为现象下的中美两个民族间的文化差异,从而帮助人们有效地提高跨文化交际能力。 本研究以言语行为理论和礼貌原则等理论为指导,基于所搜集的语料,对中美情景喜剧中的恭维言语行为进行语用对比分析,试图发现如何在不同的文化背景中恰当表达和接受恭维的途径。作者选取了20世纪八十年代以来,中美情景喜剧蓬勃发展时期比较流行的、有代表性的12部情景喜剧,中美各六部。内容涉及普通家庭生活、年轻人的友情爱情生活、青少年成长经历等方面。从每个方面都随机抽出了一些恭维言语行为,共300项,中美各150项。然后从语义模式,句法模式,话题选择和应答方略四个方面对中美恭维言语行为进行比较分析。 研究结果表明,中美电影中的恭维言语行为在语义模式、句法模式,话题选择和应答方略方面都呈现出程式化的趋势:语义和句法模式都具有一定的程式;话题都主要集中在几个特定的方...
