电影海报功能符号学角度的多模态话语分析

语言在表征领域长期以来都占据着绝对的主导地位,而这一地位逐渐因为视觉交流的发展而不断下降。不可否认,语言交流与视觉交流作为两个相对独立的系统在很多方面存在着差异,但我们必须看到语言与图像之间的关联,甚至要从更广的符号意义上去关注多种模态之间的联系;也正因此,多模态话语分析开始出现并成为研究的热点。其实对视觉交流的研究有很长历史,从符号学形成就已经开始,其中涌现出很多知名学者,如Saussure、Peirce、Eco、Barthes等。尽管如此,从功能符号学角度进行的视觉研究则是一个全新的领域。话语的多模态分析结构必定会对图像话语的研究产生重要影响。其实,基于视觉的研究不仅仅集中在图像本身,还将图像创作的现象作为一种社会交际实践进行探索,开辟新的研究角度。既然视觉交流是多维和多元的,我们也应该对不同模态之间的关系有所了解,尤其是图像与语言之间的关系。实际上,语言图像之间的关系比看起来要复杂的多;关于这点,作者将通过实际的文本分析来阐释视觉模式和文字模式的相互作用。本文将以电影海报为对象进行功能符号学的多模态话语分析。电影海报也由于它独特的设计和突出的主题容易引起人们的注意,达到销售相关商...
