汉语喻性名量搭配的认知语义分析

【摘要】:量词是汉藏语系的重要特征之一,现代汉语中量词的运用丰富多样。无论是从量词词源还是从词类搭配来看,量词与名词的关系都最为密切,关于名量搭配的研究汗牛充栋,至今未曾断绝。认知语言学的兴起,更是将处于观察和描写阶段的名量搭配研究推动到解释阶段,逐步探索相关语言现象背后的认知机制。汉语名量搭配的基本形式是“数+量+名”,该类结构中各成分之间是一种认知语义组构关系。依据名量搭配组构性和语义透明度的高低,名量搭配可大致分为字面性与喻性两大类。本文基于认知语义学,对喻性名量搭配进行认知语义分析。认知语义学认为,字面性语言与喻性语言之间并没有绝对清晰的界限,两者处于同一连续统上。因此,字面性与喻性名量搭配也是连续统的关系。就喻性名量搭配本身而言,其最具典型性的隐喻性和转喻性名量搭配也可假定为是同一语义渐变群上的不同区域。为论证这一假设,我们将名量搭配喻性意义的出现判定为语义再范畴化现象,并逐次运用概念隐喻、概念转喻、概念整合以及词汇概念与认知模型理论探讨之。概念隐喻和概念转喻模型能够初步解释隐喻性和转喻性名量搭配,但却未能反映出名量之间的双向作用关系,也不能体现喻性名量搭配语义建构过程的在线性。概念整合在一定程度上弥补了这些不足,将名词与量词之间的映射过程双向化、细致化和实时化。而词汇概念与认知模型理论能显性地反映名词与量词的认知组构关系,自下而上地体现语言系统与概念系统的互动。这些认知语义学理论的综合运用,使得喻性名量搭配的认知语义阐释更为精细、多面而有力。
