“诅咒化作葡萄园”:浅析叶芝诗歌中二元意象的张力作用

【摘要】：威廉·巴特勒·叶芝被认为是现代最伟大的爱尔兰诗人、剧作家以及二十世纪最杰出的文学巨匠之一。自二十世纪二十年代初传入中国以来,叶芝的诗作逐渐得到了广泛围、多角度的关注和研究。近年来其相关研究主要集中在叶芝诗作中的爱尔兰民族特性,浪漫主义特性及现代主义特性等方面。本文以新批评理论为依托,主要以阿伦·泰特的诗歌的“张力”理论为切入点,在对叶芝诗歌文本细读的基础上,分析其诗中常见的三组二元对立意象:东方与西方,恐怖与美,以及年轻与年长。通过分析这几组对立意象的内涵与外延,从而探究其在二元纬度的矛盾与冲突中产生的巨大张力,并在此基础上对此张力进一步分析,从而得出结论:叶芝诗歌二元意象中产生的张力对于其诗歌主题的呈现起到了巨大的推进作用,同时也是读者更好地理解其诗歌主题的重要线索。
[Abstract]:William Butler Yeats is considered the greatest modern Irish poet, one of the most outstanding writer and playwright since twentieth Century. Chinese introduced at the beginning of 1920s, Yeats's poetry has been widely around, multi angle attention and study. The Irish national characteristics in recent years the research mainly focused on Yeats's poems in the romantic character and modern characteristics. In this paper, based on the theory of new criticism, mainly in Alan Tate's poem "tension" theory as the breakthrough point, based on Yeats's poetry text on the three groups of two opposite common images in his poems of the East and the west, horror and beauty, and the young and the elderly. Through the analysis of the connotation and denotation of several imagery, which explore the enormous tension in the two latitude of the contradictions and conflicts, and in Based on this analysis, we conclude that the tension produced by Yeats's two element imagery has greatly promoted the presentation of his poetry theme, and is also an important clue for readers to better understand his poetry theme.
