从长篇小说《骨骼》看伯勒萨德创作思想的进步性与局限性

【摘要】：杰耶辛格尔·伯勒萨德是现代印地语文学史上最为杰出的作家之一,被誉为现代印地语文学的奠基人之一。《骨骼》是伯勒萨德的第一部长篇小说,出版于1929年。《骨骼》中,伯勒萨德以饱含深沉的笔墨描绘了印度教社会满目疮痍的现实图景,以充满希冀的情感勾勒了印度教社会未来的美好蓝图。《骨骼》通过对一系列饱受压迫、命运悲惨的人物形象的真实刻画,无情地鞭挞了在宗教掩护下的印度教社会的欺诈、专横与压迫,揭露了宗教面纱下印度教社会虚伪丑陋的真实面目。同时伯勒萨德以爱国者的姿态将自己对社会问题的思考、理解与探索诉诸笔端,力图在传统文化的基础上探索实现社会理想的良方,以改良主义的方式实现印度教社会的复兴。《骨骼》对于社会弊端的无情揭露、人民窘境的描写以及进步信念的传达彰显了伯勒萨德作为进步作家的责任感。但是伯勒萨德身处东西方文化激烈碰撞的时代,其所有进步思想的出发点和落脚点都是站在维护饱受挑战的印度传统文化与拯救满目疮痍的印度教社会的层面上,其个人经历与当时的时代背景也决定了其进步思想无法摆脱根深蒂固的传统文化的束缚,同时伯勒萨德其思想的局限性也在一定程度上反映了当时印度社会所面临的进步困境。本文从伯勒萨德的生平经历与创作历程入手,对《骨骼》所反映的主题思想及其现实意义进行了分析阐述。并以长篇小说《骨骼》为切入点,结合时代背景,深入剖析了伯勒萨德创作思想的进步性与局限性,为读者更加全面地理解伯勒萨德及其作品提供理论依据。
[Abstract]:Geyesinger Burlesad is one of the most outstanding writers in the history of modern Hindi literature and is known as one of the founders of modern Hindi literature. Published on 1929, in the Skeleton, Burlersad depicts the reality of the devastation of Hindu society in deep ink and pen. The vision of the future of Hindu society is outlined with hopeful emotions. Skeleton is a true portrayal of a series of oppressed, tragic characters. Mercilessly whipped under the cover of religion in the Hindu society of fraud, arbitrariness and oppression. It reveals the hypocritical and ugly nature of Hindu society under the religious veil. At the same time, Burlesad takes the position of a patriot to think about social problems and to understand and explore them. On the basis of traditional culture, the author tries to explore the good way to realize the social ideal, and to realize the revival of Hindu society in the way of reformism. The description of the people's dilemma and the communication of progressive belief reveal the sense of responsibility of Burlesad as a progressive writer, but Burlesad is in the era of intense collision between eastern and western cultures. The starting point and foothold of all its progressive ideas are at the level of preserving the challenged Indian traditional culture and saving the devastated Hindu society. His personal experience and the background of the times also decided that his progressive thought could not get rid of the shackles of deep-rooted traditional culture. At the same time, the limitation of Burlesad's thought also reflects the progressive predicament that the Indian society faced at that time. This article starts with the life experience and creation process of Burlesad. This paper analyzes and expounds the theme thought and its practical significance reflected in "skeletal", and takes the novel "skeletal" as the starting point, combining with the background of the times. This paper deeply analyzes the progress and limitation of Burlersard's creative thought, and provides a theoretical basis for readers to understand Burlesad and his works more comprehensively.
