[Abstract]:Robert Schencan's masterpiece, Kentucky Suite, won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1992. The series consists of nine short plays about more than two hundred years of fighting and entanglement between two families on the Cumberland plateau in eastern Kentucky. Constitute a magnificent family history of poetry play. Based on "violent narration", this paper analyzes the Luo Wen family's grudges and emotional entanglements in the minister's play, and reveals the hidden problems of violence in the aspects of race, family, gender and ecology, which are hidden behind American mythology. It subverts the sacred American myth represented by the American Dream, Puritan belief and ecological civilization.
