“我把人造得公平正直”——谈《失乐园》中弥尔顿对人类堕落的再现

【摘要】：弥尔顿在《失乐园》中特别强调上帝把人造得"公平正直"(just and right),这意味着人在被造之初就获得了一种建立在理性基础之上的对正义与不公的感知以及对正义/正当的追求。然而,这种追求"正当"的自然倾向中也隐藏着一个陷阱:人对正当性的需求会引导人借助理性审视上帝的禁令本身,但由于上帝的禁令具有完全独断性,其正当性无法通过理性来解释,使得它迟早会与人的正当意识发生冲突。因此,《失乐园》暗示,导致夏娃与亚当背叛上帝的关键因素恰恰是上帝在两人心中植入的理性和正当感,上帝也最终成为人类公正意识最早挑战的对象。
[Abstract]:In Paradise lost, Milton emphasizes that God has created "justice and justice", which means that man has acquired a rational perception of justice and injustice and the pursuit of justice / justice at the beginning of his creation. However, there is also a trap hidden in this natural tendency to pursue "justice": man's need for legitimacy will lead him to look at God's injunction itself with the aid of reason, but because God's ban is completely arbitrary, Its legitimacy cannot be explained by reason, and it will conflict with man's legitimate consciousness sooner or later. Therefore, Paradise lost suggests that the key factor that led Eve and Adam to betray God was the sense of rationality and justice that God implanted in the hearts of both men, and God finally became the earliest object of challenge to human consciousness of justice.
