不露声色的作者——巴赫金对话理论视域下的《圆屋》解读

【摘要】：作为"本土裔美国文学复兴"的中坚力量,路易丝·厄德里克深谙以"对话"形式谋生存的重要性。《圆屋》中的厄德里克自始至终不露声色,是她积极与人物、读者、主流社会乃至世界"对话"的体现。本文结合巴赫金对话理论中提倡的"对话型作者"及"对话的未完成性"概念对《圆屋》进行解读,分析作者从文本内全身而退的叙事效果和小说中隐含的设问及开放式结局的意味深长。乔的独立讲述真实、客观地呈现了印第安人的历史创伤和生存困境;作者无力裁决或回答的一系列问题指向遥远的未来,引发深层次思考,进一步彰显了当代印第安人的生存困境及走出困境之途任重道远。厄德里克的"对话"策略充分调动了读者参与意义建构的积极性,为她赢得众多读者的同时让印第安人的生存困境为更多人知晓,有助于他们在前行的道路上收获更多的关注、理解和帮助。
[Abstract]:As the backbone of the revival of Native American literature, Louise Edric is well aware of the importance of seeking survival in the form of dialogue. The embodiment of "dialogue" in mainstream society and even the world. Based on the concepts of "discourse author" and "unfinished dialogue" advocated in Bakhtin's dialogue theory, this paper interprets "Round House". This paper analyzes the narrative effect of the author's whole body retreat from the text and the implication of the question and the open ending in the novel. Joe's independent narration is true and objectively presents the historical trauma and survival dilemma of the Indians. The author is unable to judge or answer a series of questions pointing to the distant future, causing deep thinking, which further highlights the living plight of contemporary Indians and the long way out of it. Edric's "dialogue" strategy fully motivates readers to participate in the construction of meaning, winning her many readers and making the Indians' plight known to more people, so that they can gain more attention on their way forward.
