试论关于加拿大民族性的文学理论

【摘要】：文学作为上层建筑的一个组成部分,自然要反映经济基础的现实。加拿大文学亦不例外,一直在自觉或不自觉地记录着加拿大社会的变迁。在这个过程中,加拿大文学批评界对于加拿大文学所描述对象的秉性进行评述,产生了关于加拿大民族性的"要塞心理"(诺思罗普·弗莱)和"生存主题"(玛格丽特·阿特伍德)两种理论。但是这两种理论似乎与加拿大文学所描述的加拿大人的生活经历和心理状态不相符合。澄清这两种理论的构成原因,结合加拿大文学经典作品对其进行对照和审视,并且加以客观分析,得出符合实际的判断,对于我们了解加拿大文学,认识加拿大国民的特性,都有着积极的意义。
[Abstract]:Literature, as a part of superstructure, naturally reflects the reality of economic base. Canadian literature is no exception, has been recording the changes of Canadian society consciously or unconsciously. In this process, Canadian literary critics comment on the nature of the objects described in Canadian literature. There are two theories about Canadian nationality: "Fortress Psychology" (Northrop Frye) and "Survival theme" (Margaret Atwood). But these two theories seem to be inconsistent with Canadian life experiences and psychological states described in Canadian literature. To clarify the causes of these two theories, to compare and examine them in combination with Canadian literary classics, and to analyze them objectively, to arrive at a realistic judgment, for us to understand Canadian literature and to understand the characteristics of Canadian nationals, All have positive significance.
