莱辛的异托邦书写：《第五个孩子》和《浮世畸零人》的福柯式解读

多丽丝·莱辛被认为是既弗吉尼亚·伍尔芙之后20世纪最伟大的英国女作家,在她60年的写作生涯中,共出版了50多部作品。莱辛作品尽管风格、体裁多变,但人文主义关怀始终贯穿其中,充分体现了她作为作家的责任意识。《第五个孩子》及续集《浮世畸零人》是莱辛创作后期的优秀中篇小说,围绕主人公本·骆维特异质性的人生展开故事。本文以异托邦理论为依托,通过对本和与本产生关联的人物的分析,深入探讨莱辛作品中的异托邦,从而揭示出莱辛对人性的思考。在西方现代性的语境下,福柯的异托邦理论与莱辛的“第五个孩子”系列产生了文本对话。从表面上看,《第五个孩子》和《浮世畸零人》讲述了本·骆维特的人生悲剧,折射出西方主流家庭和社会对异质性的他者人物的冷漠和排斥;实际上莱辛通过本·骆维特等人的人生故事书写了不同形态的异托邦,即个体的异托邦、社区的异托邦和机构的异托邦,展现出现代社会中人际关系的异化、阶级的异化和科学理性的异化。这种异托邦书写是莱辛对人性的深刻反思,在她看来,只有接受差异、尊重他者、摒弃偏见、正确对待科学理性,才能消除异化、和谐共存。本论文分为五个部分,第一章大致介绍了莱辛的生平和主要作品、《第五个孩子》和《浮...
