解读纳博科夫《微暗的火》的叙事策略与道德关怀

【摘要】：纳博科夫通常被誉为是20世纪最重要的作家和文体家之一,是后现代文学的重要代表。作为代表作,《微暗的火》被认为是纳博科夫作品中最受好评、研究最为广泛的作品之一。这部小说由前言、一首999行以英雄双韵体形式写成的长诗、评注以及索引四部分组成,是纳博科夫所有作品中设计布局最为精巧,结构最为奇特的一部小说。自20世纪60年代问世以来,就受到国内外研究者的广泛关注和研究。国内外批评家和理论家对纳博科夫及其《微暗的火》的研究为数不少,但从类型上看这些研究成果大多集中在对纳博科夫作品的形式技巧(语言风格、叙事手法、后现代特征等)、以及对其作品的美学价值予以探讨。前人的研究从作品实例和理论的角度都有一定深度的挖掘,但对隐藏在纳博科夫高超的叙事技巧背后的道德关怀关注较少。在这种情况下,本文从拼贴技法以及布斯有关叙事学理论出发,分析《微暗的火》的叙事策略进而揭示其体现的道德关怀,反映了纳博科夫强烈的自我意识及独特的现实观和文学观,体现了他尊重个体自由的人文主义精神及充满怜悯的道德关怀。最后本文得出结论:纳博科夫绝不是对人类苦难漠不关心,他不仅是一位精湛的文体家,还是一位严肃的道德家,对生命与自由有着深切的关怀。纳博科夫的“审美极乐”,不是要排除道德思想,而是将其融汇表现于叙事修辞之中。
