《马尔菲公爵夫人》中的动物比喻及它们对人物塑造的作用

  《马尔菲公爵夫人》是一位英国戏剧家约翰.韦伯斯特(1850-1635)的一部悲剧作品。这部悲剧作品在批评界很受欢迎,而且批评家们的研究主要集中在对公爵夫人的婚姻和剧中人物之间的复杂关系的研究上。国内的学者们对于这部戏剧的研究比较很不充分。他们的研究主要集中在对《马尔菲公爵夫人》中的家庭悲剧和对这部戏剧中语言环境的研究上。国外的学者们曾大量研究探讨过这部戏剧。然而,关于动物比喻对人物塑造的作用方面的研究却被疏忽遗漏了。本文认为动物比喻是《马尔菲公爵夫人》中使用的重要手法。作者通过使用不同种类的动物描述了剧中人物复杂的情感特点。随着对动物比喻的深入研究,读者们可以更好地理解戏剧中人物的巧妙塑造和情节的合理发展。同时,通过对当时的社会文化和思想观念的理解,读者们还可以对当时那个黑暗社会的道德规则和腐朽制度进行精确的了解。本文通过使用文本分析和对比分析的方法,对不同的动物比喻和不同的人物进行了分析,进一步探讨动物比喻的特殊用法和对人物塑造的重大意义,同时,动物比喻的使用也能更好地展现出这部悲剧作品独特的艺术手法和艺术魅力。
