【摘要】:作为二十世纪英国最著名的作家之一,弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫既是意识流的代表人物,又是女性主义文学的先驱。她以女性特有的敏锐关注着女性的精神世界。伍尔夫不仅在作品中表现了女性特有的经历和经验、女性的疾苦和命运以及女性的意识和觉悟,而且曾在许多文章中呼吁女性意识的觉醒,充分体现了她鲜明的女性主义立场。 弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫的代表作《达洛卫夫人》被誉为“她天才的最充分表达”。通过运用各种意识流写作技巧,伍尔夫成功地塑造了达洛卫夫人这一“房中天使”形象以及她在维多利亚时期的父权制社会中压抑的生存状态。 小说描述了达洛卫夫人于1923年6月的一天从早晨出去买花,到晚上在家里开晚会,直至午夜结束,这期间十几个小时的所见所闻所感。克拉丽莎·达洛卫的丈夫是一名国会议员,仕途光明;女儿聪明漂亮;房子奢华,奴仆成群。她婚后生活虽优裕富贵但却寂寞无聊。长期以来她一直生活在一种莫明的孤独和恐惧之中。克拉丽莎的回忆和思绪追溯了她从18岁到52岁间的种种经历。透过她的追忆,读者看到了达洛卫夫人探求自我以及对生命的本质、生与死领悟的过程,看到了她的女性主体意识孕育、苏醒和成长的过程。 受到维多利亚时代的价值观和父权制社会的禁锢,“房中天使”达洛卫夫人在政治、经济、婚姻和社会生活等各方面都处于附属和被动地位。因此,本论文尝试以女性主义为理论依据,分析达洛卫夫人在政治经济等方面的不平等待遇,婚姻生活和社交生活中的压抑,以及她的女性意识孕育、苏醒和成长的过程。 除引言和结论外,本文由三章组成。 引言部分主要介绍伍尔夫的文学地位及其女性意识,《达洛卫夫人》的主要情节以及国内外对《达洛卫夫人》的研究现状,并简要综述了作为本文的理论依据的女权主义理论。 第一章着重讨论了传统的“房中天使”的特征,达洛卫夫人“房中天使”的形象,以及其作为“房中天使”在婚姻和社交生活方面压抑的生存状态。受到维多利亚时期父权制社会的压迫和禁锢,达洛卫夫人在婚姻和社会生活处于顺从和被动地位,并饱尝压抑、孤独之苦。达洛卫夫人这一压抑的生存状态为其以后女权意识的觉醒奠定了基础。 第二章从家庭婚姻、社会政治等方面,论证了克拉丽莎女性意识经历了从萌芽、觉醒到追求平等的过程,着重讨论克拉丽莎在婚姻、社会生活中不断寻求自我、实现女性自我价值的过程,表达了她渴望家庭幸福、社会地位平等的心声。虽然在经济上依赖于她的丈夫,但在精神上她拥有自己独立的空间。尤其是对婚姻的抉择,不仅说明她坚持“独立的灵魂”,而且彰显了女性在婚姻中的平等意识,这充分展现了伍尔夫的女权意识。 第三章主要剖析了达洛夫卫夫人对生与死的思考及影响达洛卫夫人觉醒的因素,即内部的性格因素和外部因素。克拉丽莎欣赏同性好友萨利·塞顿,显露出其性格中独立和叛逆的一面;克拉丽莎对爱情和生活的态度,尤其是对昔日恋人皮特·沃什的态度,显示了其性格中浪漫与乐观的一面;从她平时对人生的思考和对退役军人塞普蒂默斯自杀的反思,读者可以得知她性格中反思内省的一面。以上因素促使克拉丽莎终于发现自我,并最终促成了其女性主体意识的苏醒和成长。 通过以上分析,读者了解到以克拉丽莎为代表的“房中天使”在父权制社会所受的压迫和禁锢,以及她们在社会政治、经济、家庭婚姻等方面的从属和被动地位,进-步展示出伍尔夫对父权压迫的揭露和抵制。达洛卫夫人形象的成功塑造充分证实了伍尔夫“杀死房中天使”的女权主义观点。另一方面,通过达洛卫夫人这个人物生命中女性主体意识的孕育、苏醒和成长的过程,伍尔夫引领读者完成了一次不断发现自我、实现自我、超越自我并达到新的精神境界的心灵之旅。总而言之,该论文不仅使我们更好地了解《达洛卫夫人》,而且可以更深刻地理解伍尔夫的女性主义观点及其对女性主义文学批评发展的影响。
[Abstract]:As one of the most famous twentieth Century British writer, Virginia Woolf is the representative of the stream of consciousness, is the forerunner of feminist literature. Her feminine keen attention to women's spiritual world. Woolf works not only in the female's unique experience and experience of women and women's consciousness of suffering and destiny and consciousness, and called for the awakening of female consciousness in the many articles, fully embodies her distinctive feminist standpoint.
Representative Virginia Woolf as "Mrs. Dalloway" known as "the full expression" of her genius. Through the use of various writing techniques of stream of consciousness, Woolf successfully portrays Mrs. Dalloway as "the angel" image and her depression in the Vitoria period of the patriarchal society in the state of survival.
The novel describes Mrs. Dalloway in June 1923 day from morning to night flowers, a party at home, until midnight, during which a dozen hours of feeling. What one sees and hears Clarissa Dalloway's husband is a member of the parliament, the career of light; bright beautiful daughter; luxury house, slave communities. Although her married life good rich but lonely and boring. For a long time she had been living in a sense of loneliness and fear. Her memories and her thoughts back from 18 years old to 52 years old between various experiences. Through her memories, the reader see Mrs. Dalloway and self exploring the essence of life, understanding the process of life and death see, the birth of her female consciousness, the process of recovery and growth.
Vitoria imprisoned by the values of the times and the patriarchal society, "the angel" Mrs. Dalloway in the political, economic, and passive position in all affiliated all aspects of marriage and social life. Therefore, this paper attempts to feminism as the theoretical basis, analysis of talok only in the political and economic aspects of the unequal treatment of marriage life and social life of the depressed pregnant and her female consciousness, the process of recovery and growth.
In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this article is composed of three chapters.
The introduction part mainly introduces the literary status and the female consciousness of Woolf, "the main plot of Mrs. Dalloway > and the domestic and foreign research status of < > of Mrs. Dalloway, and briefly summarized as the theoretical basis of this feminist theory.
The first chapter focuses on the traditional "angel in the house", Mrs. Dalloway "angel in the house" image, as well as its "angel" in marriage and social life of depressed living conditions during the period of Vitoria. By the oppression of patriarchal society and imprisoned, Mrs. Dalloway in marriage and social life in obedience and passive position, and suffered depression, loneliness. Laid the foundation for the awakening of Mrs. Dalloway depressed living conditions for the future of feminist consciousness.
The second chapter from the family and marriage, social and political aspects, demonstrates Clarissa's female consciousness has experienced from budding, awakening to the pursuit of equality, discusses Clarissa in marriage, social life and constantly seeking self realization process of female self value, expressed her longing for family happiness, social equality thoughts. Although rely on the economy to her husband, but in the spirit of her own independent space. Especially the choice in marriage, not only that she adhere to the "independent spirit", but also reveals the women in the marriage equality consciousness, which fully shows Woolf's feminist consciousness.
The third chapter mainly analyzes the Daluofuwei lady factors of the birth and death of the thinking and influence of Mrs. Dalloway's awakening, namely internal personality factors and external factors. Clarissa appreciated same-sex friends Sally Seddon, revealed a rebellious and independent personality; Clarissa's attitude towards life and love, especially the attitude towards her former lover Peter Walsh that optimism and romantic side of his personality; from her usual thinking of life and Dutch act for veterans Septimus reflection, readers can learn a reflection of her character. The above factors prompted Clarissa to finally found themselves, and ultimately contributed to the awakening of female consciousness and its growth.
Through the above analysis, readers learned with Clarissa as the representative of the "angel in the house" in the patriarchal oppression and imprisonment, and in their social and political, economic, family and marriage and the subordinate and passive position, which further reveals Woolf to expose and resist the patriarchal oppression. The image of Mrs. Dalloway's success shape fully confirms Woolf "killing the angel in the house" feminist views. On the other hand, the character of Mrs. Dalloway by pregnant women subject consciousness in the process of life, awakening and growing, Woolf leads the reader to complete a continuous self discovery, self realization, self transcendence and reach a new spiritual realm of the spiritual journey in short, this paper not only enables us to better understand "Mrs. Dalloway >, but also a deeper understanding of Woolf's feminist views on women and The influence of the development of literary criticism.
