严歌苓移民小说女性身份认同研究

【摘要】：身份问题是当今社会文化研究的重要课题之一。身份的确认得益于文化阶层的固定,一但主体所在的文化阶层被破坏了,身份便失去了原有的确定性。在全球化背景的推动下,移民浪潮汹涌澎湃,由此引发的移民身份问题也日益凸显出来。严歌苓的移民小说也逃脱不了身份的问题,严歌苓本身就是一个敏感的女性作家,所以她的移民作品中大多是以女性为主人公的。这些女性不但承受着来自强势文化的歧视,还要承受着来自男性社会的压迫,所以身份的寻求对于严格苓笔下的女性主人公来说更是一个迫切而复杂的问题。女性之于男性有着天生的心理和生理的区别,但这并不意味着女性就应该处于被动的地位。相反,正是由于女性的细腻和坚韧成为了她们在异国他乡寻求身份的重要依靠。从古至今,漂流海外的女性移民不计其数,她们出国的原因不同,目的不同,背景不同,生存环境不同,面临的问题也就不同,在异域寻求身份的女性移民们也因此而展示出各自不同的生命历程。移民生活改变了严歌苓的生活状况,这不仅仅是外在躯壳的漂流,更是精神世界的冒险。更为重要的是,移民的生活令严歌苓拥有了一种两不相属的文化视觉,既非东方亦非西方,既是东方亦是两方。这种中立的视角帮助她获得了夹缝生活以外的,对异质文化背景下人们生存因境独到的认知与体会。在冷静关照并反思东西方文化在生存意义上的差异之外,严歌苓做出了诸多对身处异乡者生存状态的描摹,这种内外交困的文化冲突在个人层面被具体化也被巨大化了。在严歌苓眼中,解决这些困境实现身份认同的终极之路还是得回归到全球一体化的大背景中去。消除身份差异,建立平等开放的身份观才是严歌苓的终极目标。于是我们在这位海外华裔女作家的文本世界中,仰望到了难得的人性视角,差异被置于人类生存的大环境中,变得可解了。严歌苓的创作不仅为我们提供了全球化背景下尔方移民的身份迷失与追寻,也为世界提供了一种不同于西方世界的心灵史、认同史。
[Abstract]:The issue of identity is one of the most important topics in the study of social culture today. The confirmation of identity benefits from the fixed cultural class. Once the cultural stratum in which the subject is located has been destroyed, the identity has lost its original certainty. The wave of immigrants is surging, and the problem of immigration status has become increasingly prominent. Yan Geling's immigrant novels cannot escape the issue of identity, and Yan Geling is a sensitive female writer. So most of her immigrant works are about women as protagonists. These women not only suffer discrimination from a strong culture, but also oppression from a male society. Therefore, the search for identity is an urgent and complex problem for the female protagonists in strict Ling's works. Women are naturally different from men in psychology and physiology. But this does not mean that women should be in a passive position. On the contrary, it is precisely because of their delicacy and tenacity that they have become an important source of identity in a foreign country. The reasons for them to go abroad are different, the purpose is different, the background is different, the living environment is different, and the problems they face are different. The immigrant life has changed Yan Geling's living conditions. This is not only the drifting of the external shell, but also the adventure of the spiritual world. More importantly, the immigrants' living conditions are strict and Geling has a kind of cultural vision that is not related to each other. Neither East nor West, both East and West. This neutral perspective helped her gain a place outside her life. On the background of heterogeneous culture people's survival because of unique understanding and experience. In addition to calm care and reflection of the differences in the meaning of survival between the East and the West, Yan Geling has made many descriptions of the living conditions of people living in foreign lands. This kind of internal and diplomatic cultural conflict has been concretized and enormous at the personal level. In Yan Geling's eyes, the ultimate way to solve these dilemmas and achieve identity is to return to the background of global integration and eliminate identity differences. Establishing an equal and open concept of identity is Yan Geling's ultimate goal. Therefore, in the text world of this overseas Chinese woman writer, we look up to a rare angle of view of human nature, and the difference is placed in the great environment of human existence. Yan Geling's creation not only provides us with the identity loss and pursuit of immigrants in the context of globalization, but also provides the world with a history of soul and identity that is different from that of the western world.
