空间批评视域下《占有：一部罗曼史》的研究

【摘要】：《占有：一部罗曼史》是A.S.拜厄特的代表作，文学评论家们从多种角度对其进行了研究，已经取得了不少研究成果，深化了对拜厄特和《占有》的阐释。本文即以《占有》为研究对象，，在现有研究的基础上，以空间批评理论——特别是列斐伏尔的“空间三一论”和福柯的“异质空间理论”——为指导，进一步揭示空间在《占有》中对主题表现的作用以及这些空间的社会和文化意义。空间批评向传统的空间理念发起了挑战，为文学批评提供了新的视角。传统的空间研究将景观仅仅视为故事情节的背景与承装它的僵死容器，而空间批评关注空间的隐喻意义，研究文学文本中隐藏在空间及空间隐喻背后的文化、历史、意识形态、身份和权力的多重逻辑关系。“空间三一论”包括“空间实践”、“空间呈现”和“呈现的空间”，为研究人类活动和空间建构之间的互动提供了系统的理论方法。“异质空间”是“呈现的空间”的一种特殊形式，是表现他者和主流秩序矛盾与抗争的特殊视角。基于上述的空间理论观点，本文以《占有》为研究对象，探讨空间在该小说主题意义表现中的重要作用。本研究的开展是基于以下假设：《占有》中的空间具有主体性和异质性，在文本的社会、文化、历史主题建构中起着重要的作用。以上述假设为参照并通过对《占有》中乌托邦、他者空间和异托邦三重空间的研究，本文得出以下结论：该小说中的空间与处于该空间中的人物关系密切相关，并对人物的活动产生影响；空间的建构对小说女性主义主题的表达有着重要作用；从理论意义上看，本研究是将空间批评与女性主义批评进行结合的尝试。本研究的成果将有助于加强批评家对空间在主题表达和文本建构意义的认识，使批评界对《占有》的个案研究甚至是文学的总体研究都得到进一步深化。
[Abstract]:Possession: a Romantic is the masterpiece of A. S. Byatt. Literary critics have studied it from various angles, and have made a lot of research achievements. This paper takes possession as the research object, and on the basis of the existing research, Under the guidance of space criticism theory, especially Lefeivoll's Trinity Theory of Space and Foucault's Theory of heterogeneous Space, this paper further reveals the function of space in possession and the social and cultural significance of these spaces. Space criticism challenges the traditional concept of space and provides a new perspective for literary criticism. Space criticism focuses on the metaphorical meaning of space and studies the culture, history and ideology hidden behind space and spatial metaphor in literary texts. "trinity of space" includes "space practice", "space presentation" and "space of presentation", which provides a systematic theoretical method for studying the interaction between human activities and spatial construction. Space "is a special form of" present space ". It is a special angle of view to express the contradiction and struggle between the other and the mainstream order. Based on the above space theory, this paper takes possession as the object of study. This study is based on the following assumptions: the space in possession has subjectivity and heterogeneity, and plays an important role in the construction of social, cultural and historical themes in the text. Taking the above hypothesis as a reference and through the study of the three spaces of Utopia, other space and heterotope in possession, this paper draws the following conclusions: the space in the novel is closely related to the characters in the space. The construction of space plays an important role in the expression of feminist themes in novels. From a theoretical point of view, this study is an attempt to combine space criticism with feminist criticism. The results of this study will help to strengthen the critics' understanding of the meaning of space in thematic expression and text construction, and further deepen the case study of "possession" and even the overall study of literature in critical circles.
