论《织工马南传》的叙事艺术

【摘要】：乔治·艾略特是英国19世纪的哲理小说家,她在世的时候就已蜚声文坛。她的作品扎根于现实,蕴藏着丰富而深厚的思想,因而也能经得起时间的考验而经久不衰。长久以来,有不少学者从宗教思想或异化主题的角度评析她的作品,并冠之以“严肃文学家”的称号。本文另辟蹊径,撇开作者的宗教思想不谈,将小说《织工马南传》置于叙事学理论的关照下,结合原型理论等相关知识探究其中的叙事策略,并在叙事艺术的层面上展开多维研究,以揭示小说中丰富的叙事内容和多元叙事手法,以期为乔治·艾略特的小说研究打开更为广阔的视角。叙事艺术是作者写作的技巧,方式和凤格,也是叙事学理论的运用,涉及叙事学的诸多方面,主要探究的是文学作品的内在形式和深层结构。本研究认为,《织工马南传》是一部展示丰富叙事艺术的作品,其蕴含的多元复合叙事模式表现出作者对科学创作方法的灵活运用和对叙事作品内在规律的注重。另一方面,本文认为,在复合悲剧、田园喜剧和寓意神话的叙事程式的渐进中,也寄托着作者对和谐人际关系社会的美好愿景。这种叙事艺术使读者在阅读过程中潜移默化地参与到文本意义建构中,领略到小说在深层结构中传递的寓意。
[Abstract]:George Eliot was a philosophical novelist in England in 19th century. She was famous in the literary world when she was alive. Her works are rooted in reality and contain rich and profound ideas, and thus stand the test of time. For a long time, Many scholars comment on her works from the angle of religious thought or alienation theme, and have the title of "serious writer". The novel "Manan Zhuan of Weaving Man" is put under the care of narratology theory, combined with prototype theory and other related knowledge to explore the narrative strategy, and carry out multi-dimensional research on the level of narrative art. In order to reveal the rich narrative content and multiple narrative techniques in the novel, so as to open a broader perspective for the study of George Eliot's novels. The art of narration is the skill, way and style of the author's writing, and it is also the application of the theory of narratology, which involves many aspects of narratology. The main exploration is the internal form and deep structure of the literary works. This study holds that the Weaving Man Ma Nan Zhuan is a work that shows rich narrative art. The multiple and complex narrative mode contained in it shows the author's flexible application of scientific creative methods and his emphasis on the internal rules of narrative works. On the other hand, this paper holds that, in the case of compound tragedy, The gradual development of the narrative formula of pastoral comedy and mythology also relies on the author's beautiful vision of a harmonious interpersonal relationship society. This narrative art enables readers to participate in the construction of textual meaning in a subtle way in the process of reading. Appreciate the moral of the novel in its deep structure.
