论奥康纳小说中暴力元素蕴含的基督教存在主义

【摘要】：弗兰纳里·奥康纳在其小说中广泛使用暴力元素，让作品显得非常恐怖，营造出与美国文学中的哥特传统一脉相承的假象。同时，奥康纳又是一位虔诚的天主教徒，对基督教有着强烈的情感依赖，并接受了当时一个独特的神学思想——基督教存在主义。暴力与神学两个方面在奥康纳的作品中巧妙地融合在一起，形成了以暴力承载基督教存在主义神学内涵的景象。论文共分为五个部分。第一部分为前言，主要对奥康纳的生平及其作品做简要介绍，并整理分析了国内外的相关文献，同时对本研究的意义和目的做了说明。第二部分主要讨论了奥康纳小说中暴力与距离现实主义之间的关系。所谓“距离现实主义”是奥康纳创作的具有现实主义表象，却与传统现实主义在“终极现实”上有着根本区别的文本形态。在奥康纳看来，，“终极现实”是与启示逻辑相联系的神秘经验。神秘的表现同样依附于具体物，但需要创作者对具体物进行巨大的变形和扭曲，从而产生“陌生化”的效果，才能让读者能够穿破表面现实，触及作者想要表达的“终极现实”。暴力，正是奥康纳对表面现实进行“陌生化”处理的重要手段之一。第三部分通过暴力是人物的一种生存体验，人物自由意志的展现，以及人物摆脱他人束缚的一种方式等三个方面论述了奥康纳作品中的暴力与存在主义的关系。第四部分主要论述了作为其小说存在主义哲学思想基础的神学思想。首先从暴力与“原罪”主题、暴力与启示及救赎两个部分论述了奥康纳的小说如何通过暴力展现基督教的两个核心教义，随后指出暴力也是奥康纳在神学思想的指导下，对人类生存现状进行模仿和反思的一种方式。第五部分为结语，主要综合以上几章的论述，说明奥康纳小说中暴力在主题表现上的重要性，并分析了她的作品在文学对神学的表现方面的独到之处。
[Abstract]:Flannery O'Connor widely used violent elements in his novels, which made the works appear terrible and created the illusion that they were in line with the Gothic tradition in American literature.At the same time, O'Connor was a devout Catholic who had a strong emotional dependence on Christianity and accepted a unique theological thought at that time-Christian existentialism.The two aspects of violence and theology are skillfully combined in O'Connor 's works, forming a scene of the connotation of Christian existentialism theology with violence.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is the preface, mainly introduces O'Connor 's life and his works, and analyzes the relevant literature at home and abroad, and explains the significance and purpose of this study.The second part mainly discusses the relationship between violence and distance realism in O'Connor 's novels.The so-called "distance realism" is O'Connor 's realistic representation, but it is fundamentally different from traditional realism in "ultimate reality".In O'Connor 's view, Ultimate reality is a mysterious experience associated with revelation logic.The mysterious performance is also dependent on the concrete, but it needs the creators to deform and distort the concrete so as to produce the effect of "strangeness" so that the reader can penetrate the surface reality.Touch on the "ultimate reality" that the author wants to express.Violence is one of O'Connor 's important means to deal with superficial reality.The third part discusses the relationship between violence and existentialism in O'Connor 's works through three aspects: the existence experience of characters, the display of the free will of characters, and the way in which the characters get rid of the bondage of others.The fourth part mainly discusses the theological thought which is the foundation of his philosophy of existentialism.This paper first discusses how O'Connor 's novels show the two core doctrines of Christianity through violence from the themes of violence and original sin, violence, revelation and redemption, and then points out that violence is also O'Connor under the guidance of theological thought.A way of imitating and reflecting on the current situation of human existence.The fifth part is the conclusion, which synthesizes the above chapters, explains the importance of violence in the theme of O'Connor 's novels, and analyzes the originality of her works in the literary expression of theology.
