论麦克尤恩《赎罪》中的狂欢化特征

【摘要】：伊恩·麦克尤恩是英国当代著名作家。《赎罪》是他最重要的作品之一,自2001年问世以来,就受到了公众与批评界的广泛关注。这部小说的复杂性使评论界对它的解读呈现多元化,研究主要集中在小说的赎罪主题、虚构性和真实性以及叙事技巧等方面,而对于小说的狂欢化特征还没有人加以系统的研究。本文将运用巴赫金的狂欢化理论解读这部小说,探讨它的狂欢化特征。狂欢化是巴赫金最重要的理论之一。加冕与脱冕、狂欢化广场、狂欢化时间和空间以及对话性都是狂欢化理论的主要组成部分。本文将运用这一理论,从以上几方面探讨《赎罪》这部作品的狂欢化特征及其表现。第一章简要介绍巴赫金狂欢化理论和其中的重要概念。第二章探讨作品中主要人物的加冕和脱冕。第三章研究作品中的狂欢化广场以及狂欢化时间和空间。第四章分析小说中的两种对话模式：大型对话和内部对话。大型对话主要是小说中不同意识主体之间的对话,内部对话则是小说主人公布里奥尼在内心中与自己的对话。通过应用狂欢化理论对该小说的分析,本文认为,《赎罪》是一部具有狂欢化特征的小说,该小说的美学价值得到进一步的发掘。
[Abstract]:Ian McEwan is a famous contemporary British writer. Atonement is one of his most important works, which has received wide public and critical attention since its publication in 2001. The complexity of the novel has diversified the critical interpretation of the novel, focusing on the theme of atonement, fiction and authenticity, as well as narrative techniques, etc. However, there is no systematic study on the carnival characteristics of the novel. This paper will use Bakhtin's carnival theory to interpret the novel and discuss its carnival characteristics. Revelry is one of Bakhtin's most important theories. Coronation and discoronation, carnival square, carnival time and space and dialogue are the main components of carnival theory. Based on this theory, this paper discusses the carnival characteristics and performance of Atonement. The first chapter briefly introduces Bakhtin's carnival theory and its important concepts. Chapter two discusses the coronation and de-coronation of the main characters in the works. The third chapter studies the carnival square and the time and space of carnival. Chapter four analyzes two kinds of dialogue modes in the novel: large dialogue and internal dialogue. The large-scale dialogue is mainly the dialogue between the different conscious subjects in the novel, while the internal dialogue is the dialogue between the protagonist Briony and himself in his heart. By applying carnival theory to the analysis of the novel, this paper holds that Atonement is a novel with carnival characteristics, the aesthetic value of the novel has been further explored.
