论现代性语境中《时时刻刻》的疾病意象

【摘要】:“世纪病”不是一种新兴的社会现象。最早是指一种文学现象,后期也逐渐用来指代人类的精神状态。譬如是生性孤僻,与现实环境格格不入;抑或是在孤独的漂泊中逐渐消磨生命;又或者是虽然富有才华,但却对现实生活感到悲观失望,找不到生命的意义。而在精神分析的视域下对迈克尔·坎宁安的小说《时时刻刻》进行研究,这在一定程度上探索了文学批评的新路径。论文在精神分析理论和症候式分析的指导下,尝试性地考察《时时刻刻》所呈现的各种疾病意象、防御机制以及消极审美效果,从而对其进行新维度的考量。论文旨在阐明,《时时刻刻》是在现代性语境下对工业化文明压迫人性自由发展的某种自然书写:现代化将整个社会打造成一个用于批量复制生产的机器,冷酷地控制着每一个千篇一律的人。对个体自身的绝对关注使人与人之间的冷漠更加变本加厉。在这样的社会大背景之下,大众个体正在遭遇一场灵魂的危机,而很显然,正是这场灵魂危机导致越来越多的个体患上神经症。 论文的导论部分是以两个层次展开。第一层次扼要梳理前人对《时时刻刻》研究的已有成果,并引向论文的立论;第二层次则是展开论文的立论依据、批评范式以及创新价值。论文的主体部分共有三个章节。第一章阐述了《时时刻刻》中所包含的各类疾病意象以及个体的身体反应,大致归为三类:精神分裂、异常性倾向与神经症,并以此为据分类勾勒出各类症候下个体的身体行为。第二章围绕个体精神病症的防御机制展开,具体由产生的社会根源以及防御机制构成,重点揭示了个体在工业文明的浸染下使生命沦为异态形式之后所采取的防御机制的行为表现。第三章则综合考察《时时刻刻》中各种异质的病态现象所催生的一种让人觉得震惊、丑陋、恐惧的消极美及其特性,并在这种充满末日情结的“世纪病”中归纳出生命情绪发散的悲剧形式——消极美。 结语部分对《时时刻刻》所蕴含的各种疾病意象的产生语境,以及其中所暗含的消极审美体验略作评定,同时指出精神分析与症候式分析为《时时刻刻》的探究与批判提供了一个新的视野。
[Abstract]:Century disease is not a new social phenomenon. The earliest is a literary phenomenon, which is gradually used to refer to the state of human spirit. For example, the nature of the lonely, incompatible with the real environment, or in the drift of loneliness gradually kill life, or, although talented, but feel sad about the real life, can not find the meaning of life. The study of Michael Cunningham's novel "every hour" from the perspective of psychoanalysis explores the new path of literary criticism to a certain extent. Under the guidance of psychoanalysis theory and symptom analysis, this paper attempts to examine the various disease images, defense mechanisms and negative aesthetic effects presented in "time and hour", so as to consider the new dimensions. The purpose of the paper is to clarify that "every hour" is a kind of natural writing that oppresses the free development of human nature against the industrialized civilization in the context of modernity: modernization makes the whole society a machine for mass production. Ruthlessly control every one of the same people. The absolute concern for the individual makes the apathy between people worse. In such a social context, the public is experiencing a soul crisis, and it is obvious that it is the soul crisis that causes more and more individuals to suffer from neurosis. The introduction of this paper is divided into two levels. The first level briefly combs the previous achievements in the study of "time and hour", and leads to the argument of the paper. The second level is the basis of the thesis, the criticism paradigm and the value of innovation. There are three chapters in the main part of the thesis. The first chapter describes the various disease images and individual body reactions contained in the book, which are classified into three categories: schizophrenia, abnormal tendency and neurosis. According to the classification, the physical behavior of individuals under various symptoms is outlined. The second chapter focuses on the defense mechanism of individual mental illness, which is composed of the social origin and the defense mechanism. This paper mainly reveals the behavior of the defense mechanism adopted by the individual after the immersion of the industrial civilization to degenerate the life into a different form. The third chapter examines the negative beauty and its characteristics of shock, ugliness and fear caused by various heterogeneous morbid phenomena in "every hour". In this apocalyptic disease of the century, the tragic form of emotional divergence of life-negative beauty is summed up. In the conclusion part, the author makes a brief assessment of the context of the emergence of various disease images and the negative aesthetic experience implied therein. At the same time, it points out that psychoanalysis and symptom analysis provide a new perspective for the exploration and criticism of "every hour".
