【摘要】：出版于1981年的小说《陌生人的慰藉》被誉为英国作家伊恩·麦克尤恩“恐怖伊恩”时期的杰出作品，在上个世纪九十年代被改编成电影与观众见面。他的作品常涉及一些敏感题材,触及边缘话题，如暴力、死亡、性爱、伦理等。凭借其出色的写作风格，伊恩·麦克尤恩从多个视角出发，在展现了人性的至真至善面的同时也挖掘了人性的阴暗面。他积极探讨人类的不安与彷徨、忧虑与恐惧、绝望与希望。自作品《陌生人的慰藉》问世以来，不少国内外的学者与评论家对其进行了研究，但主要关注这部作品中变态性爱与人性方面的主题。本论文尝试从城市研究的视角分析这部作品。文学关注的不外乎是人之世与世之人，而城市无疑是两者的重要展台之一。作为人类思想的凝聚和行为活动的产物，城市应运而生，并被赋予鲜明的时代特征。作家们对于同一城市的理解不尽相同，可以这么说，有多少个作家，就有多少座“城”。作品《陌生人的慰藉》中的“不具名”的城市由大量具体和抽象的城市意象构成，伊恩·麦克尤恩细致刻画了这个故事的背景城市。文本中对于城市的叙述正是人之城市体验的最佳写照。本文作者认为，作品《陌生人的慰藉》不应只从社会伦理角度来阐释，而文中的爱与欲、善与恶的主题也不只是与人物冲突与故事情节的戏剧化发展联系在一起。因为在城市化进程中，人类通过不同城市体验展示了传统与现代文明的冲突。在作品《陌生人的慰藉》中，，伊恩·麦克尤恩不仅描述了这个“不具名”城市中人的城市体验，更借此传达了他对人类生活和都市文明的深层关怀。文中众多城市意象的书写实际上就是人类在追求普世价值的过程中的都市体验的书写。考虑到麦克尤恩的文学理念及这部小说的独特叙事风格，文本作者还深入分析了文学文本与城市之间的复杂对应关系，并指出，正是行文中大量对于具象和抽象的城市意象之书写，使得这部书较之于传统文学文本有了自身鲜明的特色。论文作者同时指出，文学作品文本性的重要性同样应当得到重视，因为文本不仅只是简单的城市的反映和再现，它更是为读者重构整个故事和城市提供了一种全新的方式。
[Abstract]:The novel "comfort to strangers", published in 1981, was hailed as the outstanding work of the British writer Ian McEwan during the "Terror Ian" period, which was adapted into a film to meet the audience in the 1990s. His works often cover sensitive subjects and touch on marginal topics, such as violence, death, sex, ethics, etc. With his outstanding writing style, Ian McEwan not only reveals the true and best aspects of human nature, but also excavates the dark side of human nature. He actively discusses human anxiety and loss, anxiety and fear, despair and hope. Since the publication of the novel "comfort to strangers", many scholars and critics at home and abroad have studied it, but they mainly pay attention to the theme of abnormal sex and human nature in this work. This thesis attempts to analyze this work from the perspective of urban research. Literature is only concerned with the world and the world, and the city is undoubtedly one of the two important booths. As the result of the agglomeration of human thought and the activity of human behavior, the city came into being and was endowed with distinctive characteristics of the times. Writers have different understandings of the same city, so to speak, there are as many writers as there are cities. The unnamed city in the novel "comfort of strangers" consists of a large number of concrete and abstract city images. Ian McEwan meticulously depicts the background city of the story. The narration of city in the text is the best portrayal of man's urban experience. The author of this paper argues that the novel "comfort to strangers" should not only be interpreted from the angle of social ethics, but also that the themes of love and desire, good and evil are not only associated with the dramatic development of conflict and storyline. Because in the process of urbanization, human beings demonstrate the conflict between traditional and modern civilization through different urban experiences. In "comfort to strangers", Ian McEwan not only describes the city experience in this "anonymous" city, but also conveys his deep concern for human life and urban civilization. The writing of many city images in this paper is actually the writing of urban experience in the process of pursuing universal value. Taking into account McEwan's literary ideas and the novel's unique narrative style, the author also analyzes the complex correspondence between the literary text and the city, and points out, It is the abundant writing of concrete and abstract city images in the writing that makes this book have its own distinctive characteristics compared with the traditional literary texts. At the same time, the author points out that the importance of textuality in literary works should also be emphasized, because text is not only a reflection and reproduction of simple cities, but also provides a new way for readers to reconstruct the whole story and city.
