对《人性的枷锁》中菲利普凯瑞的荣格原型分析

【摘要】：《人性的枷锁》是英国作家威廉·萨默塞特·毛姆写于1915年的一部半自传体小说。自从它的第一次出版就受到了文学批评界的一致好评，被认为是自传体小说的经典之作。这部小说在二十世纪西方文学史上产生了巨大而深远的影响，并且为毛姆在英语国家赢得了巨大的声誉。小说为我们呈现了一个引起读者的共鸣的成长故事，讲述了菲利普·凯瑞从童年到成年的精神历程。本论文从荣格原型理论角度分析《人性的枷锁》中主人公菲利普的成长。论文通过分析主人公的成长过程，反映出主人公心理和思想的逐渐成熟并试图找出主人公心理成长的动力所在。通过心理的成熟，菲利普实现了自我救赎和自我实现的意识，并且客服了精神成长过程中的性格弱点并最终实现了性格的完善。论文剖析了菲利普特有的心路历程和情感遭遇。作者在文中主要是从荣格总结的四种对人类人格产生重大影响的原型理论—阿尼玛、阴影、人格面具、自性和曼荼罗出发，对主人公菲利普的心理和成长进行分析。首先，第一章论文从荣格阿尼玛原型理论分析了菲利普与小说中四个女人的爱情经历。荣格提出了阿尼玛发展的四个阶段，分别是夏娃阶段，海伦阶段，玛丽亚阶段和索菲亚阶段。第一章主要沿着主人公的情感轨迹，探究其在阿尼玛的不同阶段对其四段感情女主人公的投射分析菲利普的情感变化。接着，论文从荣格的人格面具，阴影，自性原型理论出发，试着找出菲利普在感情和生活中遭受不幸的原因。此部分会为我们揭示由于年龄的增长和环境的改变，，菲利普开始转变并走向成熟。论文的第三部分论述基于荣格的曼荼罗原型理论。菲利普在成长过程中人格趋于完善，直面人生，克服自己的性格缺陷进行自我救赎，最终达到自我实现并上升到追求人格的完整性并挣脱人生的枷锁。笔者认为结合荣格原型理论从成长主题的角度来解读菲利凯瑞的精神成长历程，可以使读者对小说主人公和主人公的行为有更为全面深刻的理解。
[Abstract]:Shackles of Human Nature is a semi-autobiographical novel written by English writer William Somerset Maugham in 1915. Since its first publication, it has been well received by critics and regarded as a classic of autobiographical novels. The novel had a great and profound influence on the history of western literature in the 20th century and earned Maugham a great reputation in English-speaking countries. The novel presents us with a growing-up story that resonates with readers and tells the story of Philip Carey's spiritual journey from childhood to adulthood. This paper analyzes the growth of Philip, the protagonist in the yoke of humanity from the perspective of Jung's prototype theory. By analyzing the process of the protagonist's growth, the thesis reflects the gradual maturation of the hero's psychology and thought and tries to find out the motive force of the hero's psychological growth. Through the psychological maturity, Philip realized the consciousness of self-redemption and self-actualization, and finally realized the perfection of personality by serving the weakness of character in the process of spiritual growth. The paper analyzes Philip's unique heart course and emotional experience. In this paper, the author analyzes Philip's psychology and growth from the four archetypal theories which have great influence on human personality, such as Anima, shadow, personality mask, self-nature and mandala, which are summarized by Jung. First, the first chapter analyzes Philip's love experience with four women in the novel from Jung Anima's archetypal theory. Jung put forward four stages of Anima's development: Eve stage, Helen stage, Maria stage and Sophia stage. The first chapter mainly follows the protagonist's emotional locus, and probes into his projection to the heroine in different stages of Anima to analyze Philip's emotional changes. Then, based on Jung's theory of personality mask, shadow and self-nature, this paper tries to find out why Philip suffered misfortune in his feelings and life. This part reveals that Philip is beginning to grow and mature as he grows older and the environment changes. The third part of the thesis discusses the prototype theory of mandala based on Jung. In the process of growing up, Philip's personality tends to be perfect, face life directly, overcome his own character defect to carry on self-redemption, finally achieve self-realization and rise to pursue the integrity of personality and break the shackles of life. The author thinks that combining Jung's archetypal theory with the theory of growth theme to interpret the spiritual growth course of Felix Carey can make readers have a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the protagonist and the protagonist's behavior.
