解构与重构—赵建秀的《唐老鸭》对华裔美国男性形象塑造的后殖民解读

【摘要】：在美国的大众文化中，华裔男性的形象没有得到正面的再现，被塑造成了劣等的他者的刻板化形象。《唐老亚》是赵健秀创作的第一部塑造正面、阳刚的华裔男性形象的小说。本论文拟以后殖民批评的视角，以法农的自卑情结、赛义德的东方主义和霍米·巴巴的模拟概念为理论基础，探索在《唐老亚》中形成华裔男性身份危机的原因、赵健秀解构华裔男性的刻板形象和重构正面、阳刚的华裔男性形象的方式。本论文指出赵健秀旨在捍卫华裔男性在美国社会的公民权，有助于华裔男性建立自信，，在美国社会维护自己的权利，具有明显的现实和政治意义。
[Abstract]:In American popular culture, the image of Chinese male has not been positively reproduced, and has been shaped into the stereotype image of inferior other. "Tang Lao ya" is the first novel of Zhao Jianxiu to portray the positive, masculine Chinese male image. From the perspective of post-colonial criticism, this thesis explores the causes of the crisis of Chinese male identity in Tang Laoya, based on Farnon's inferiority complex, said's Orientalism and Homi Baba's simulated concept. Zhao Jianxiu deconstructs the stereotype image of Chinese male and the way of reconstructing positive masculine Chinese male image. This paper points out that Zhao Jianxiu's aim is to safeguard the citizenship of Chinese men in American society, which is helpful for Chinese men to build self-confidence and safeguard their rights in American society, which has obvious realistic and political significance.
