创伤与复原：美国内战小说与电影冷山中的创伤主题研究

【摘要】：白问世以来,《冷山》作为一本全球热卖的畅销书引起了广大读者及评论家的兴趣.一些评论家认为查尔斯·弗雷泽将希腊神话中的奥德赛重置于19世纪的美国。而另外一些评论家们却从不同的角度阐释该小说,如围绕小说关于美国内战,宗教,人性及信仰危机等主题展开评论。然而,却鲜有评论家关注过小说中所呈现的种种创伤事件。小说《冷山》在2003年被导演安东尼·明格拉改编成同名电影。该电影改编即刻获得巨大的成功,因为其既保留了原小说的精华又深化了其主题。通过向观众形象展示美国内战的残酷,该电影唤起了人们对战争及人性的深度反思。该电影改编反映了电影主人公及参战士兵不同程度的创伤及创伤后压力综合症的症状。此文以朱迪斯·赫曼的创伤理论为指导,旨在比较分析小说与电影《冷山》中隐含的创伤主题。小说与电影中所描述的创伤经历正是主人公辩证性创伤表现的诱发机制,而主人公核心心理创伤的辩证性特征则是通过其先是否认遭受的创伤事件后又将其公开的矛盾行为表现出来的。此外,明格拉在电影改编中使用的改编策略将主人公创伤效果直观化并高潮化。直观化的闪回,电影镜头的移动技巧以及蒙太奇等电影改编策略的运用加深了电影的创伤主题,使电影更具有张力。再者,患创伤后压力综合症主人公的复原之路是由自我发现之旅开始的。通过展开重拾主体性的自我发现之旅,经历战争创伤的人们重新回归群体,重塑了人与人之间真诚,善良的关系,而这种关系与先前人们之间充满怀疑,抗争的关系是截然不同的。
[Abstract]:Since the beginning of the world, "cold mountain" as a global best-selling book has attracted the interest of readers and critics. Some critics believe that Charles Fraser replaces the odyssey in the Greek mythology to the United States in nineteenth Century. Other critics have explained the novel from different angles, such as the novel about the American Civil war, Commentators commented on the themes of religion, human nature and the crisis of faith. However, few critics have paid attention to the traumatic events in the novel. The novel "cold mountain >" was adapted from the film by director Anthony Minghella in 2003. The film was adapted to a great success immediately, because it retained the essence of the original novel and deepened its owner. By showing the cruelty of the American Civil War to the audience, the film aroused people's deep reflection on war and human nature.
The film adaptation reflects the symptoms of different degrees of trauma and posttraumatic stress syndrome of the movie protagonist and the combatants. This article, guided by Judith Herman's theory of trauma, aims to compare and analyze the theme of the trauma in the novel and the film "cold mountain >". The traumatic experience described in the novel and the film is a dialectical creation of the protagonist. The dialectic feature of the core psychological trauma of the protagonist is manifested by the public contradictory behavior after the first is the denial of the traumatic event. In addition, the adaptation strategy used by Minghella in the film adaptation will visualize and climax the hero's trauma effect. The movement of the head and the use of film adaptation strategies such as montage deepened the theme of the film's trauma and made the film more tension. Furthermore, the recovery of post traumatic stress syndrome was started by the journey of self discovery. The group has reshaped the sincere and kind-hearted relationship between people, which is quite different from the previous suspicion and struggle between people.
