后殖民语境下库切小说中的老人形象研究

【摘要】：J.M.库切是南非当代著名白人英语文学作家，2003年诺贝尔文学奖的获得者，库切以后殖民书写表达自身对昔日殖民历史的思考和社会问题的见解。在他创作的作品中有对老人形象的描绘，本论文选取了库切作品中的《内陆深处》、《等待野蛮人》、《铁器时代》、《耻》、《伊丽莎白·科斯特洛：八堂课》、《慢人》、《凶年纪事》7部小说为研究对象，，梳理出后殖民语境下库切小说中老人三类形象、分析了老人的生存境遇和家园意识、阐释了老人形象的价值及意义之所在。本论文有五部分构成，绪论部分主要介绍库切其人其文，梳理近十年来库切作品研究的国内外研究现状。第二部分梳理和归纳后殖民语境下老人形象。首先是梳理了后殖民的相关理论，然后是阐述库切对后殖民的思考，最后梳理出库切小说中的老人形象，把库切小说中的老人形象分为统治者形象、知识分子形象和异乡人形象三类。第三部分主要从生存境遇和家园意识两个方面具体分析了库切小说中的老人形象，探讨老人在种族冲突下的生命际遇及家园意识，阐述库切通过对老人家园意识的抒写所表达出的人类对于美好生活的向往。第四部分阐释了后殖民语境下老人形象的价值和意义，库切从哲学的高度来对人类终极关怀进行审视和探究，提出了对人性本源的追求和思索，为老人晚年生活寻觅新的道路。第五部分为结语。通过以上对后殖民语境下库切小说中的老人形象研究，笔者希望能对库切小说创作的人物形象有一个更为全面和深入的了解，以期进一步深化对库切小说的理论研究。
[Abstract]:J.M. Coetzee is a famous contemporary white English literary writer in South Africa, the winner of the 2003 Nobel prize for literature. After Coetzee's colonial writing, he expressed his views on the former colonial history and his views on social problems. In his works, he described the image of the old man. "Man >," Iron Age "," shame > "," Elizabeth Costello: eight classes "," slow Man > "," the chronicle of the Chronicle "of the >7 novel as the research object, to comb out the three types of image of the old man in the post colonial context of Coetzee Novels, analyze the living situation of the old man and the sense of home, and explain the value and significance of the old man's image.
This thesis consists of five parts. The introduction mainly introduces Coetzee's literature, combs the domestic and foreign research status of Coetzee's work in the last ten years. The second part combs and sums up the image of the old man in the post colonial context. First, it combs the related theories of post colonialism, then expounds the thinking of Coetzee to post colonialism, and finally combs out the Treasury cut. The image of the old man in the novel divides the image of the old man in the novels of Coetzee into three categories: the image of the ruler, the image of the intellectuals and the image of the foreign man. The third part analyzes the image of the old man in the novels of Coetzee from two aspects of the living situation and the consciousness of the home, and discusses the life and home consciousness of the old man in the conflict of the species, and expounds the library. The fourth part interprets the value and significance of the image of the old man in the post colonial context. Coetzee examines and explores the ultimate concern of human beings from the height of philosophy, and puts forward the pursuit and thought of the human nature, looking for the old man's life in his later years. The fifth part is the conclusion. Through the study of the image of the old man in Coetzee's novels in the post colonial context, the author hopes to have a more comprehensive and deep understanding of the characters of Coetzee's novels in order to further deepen the theoretical study of Coetzee's novels.
