探析《追风筝的人》的成长小说特征

【摘要】：《追风筝的人》是美籍阿富汗裔作家卡勒德·侯塞尼的处女作,也是作者的成名作。自2003年出版以来,该小说迅速成为全球畅销书,被译成55种文字,在世界70个国家出版。小说由第一人称视角讲述了身在美国的阿富汗移民男孩阿米尔和家中仆人的儿子哈桑幼年时的友情,以及在成长中追寻纯真本性的故事。阿米尔在成长中经历了激烈的心灵救赎过程,这让他从幼稚的懵懂走向人性的善良,最终拥有不畏强暴,秉持正义的品质。《追风筝的人》通过细腻的笔触描绘出主人公阿米尔在成长过程中走过的种种艰辛历程。本文试图从小说文本出发,从四个方面仔细探究《追风筝的人》中所表现出的成长小说特征。首先,分析小说在内容方面体现出的成长小说特性,展现了主人公在成长历程中经历的心理危机,并采用自传题材方式,将作者的亲身生活经历融入到作品中。其次,小说中出现多个在主人公成长道路上起到至关重要作用的引路人和成长伙伴们,这也与典型的成长小说在人物塑造上的特征契合。再次,无论从公式化情节结构,还是主人公的顿悟,以及叙事角度等方面,该小说都体现了作为一部成长小说在叙事结构上的特点。最后,本文论述了“风筝”这一意象,小说作者通过独特的写作手法,巧妙地将简单的“风筝”意象与阿拉伯社会以及穆斯林宗教等极具阿富汗特色的文化因素相融合,使这部小说成为一部别具阿富汗特色的成长小说。通过对文本的详细探析,本文更进一步挖掘了《追风筝的人》在内容、人物塑造、结构以及文化思想等方面展现出与传统成长小说的共通性和创新性。
[Abstract]:Kite chaser is the debut and famous work of American Afghan writer Khaled Houseni. Since its publication in 2003, the novel has quickly become a global bestseller, translated into 55 languages and published in 70 countries. From the first person perspective, the novel tells the story of the friendship between Amir, an Afghan immigrant boy in the United States, and Hassan, the servant's son, in their childhood, and the story of their growing up in pursuit of pure nature. Amir grew up through a fierce process of spiritual redemption, which led him from childish ignorance to humanity's goodness, and eventually had the unflinching rapes. Uphold the quality of justice. Through delicate strokes, the protagonist Amir describes the arduous course that Amir went through in his growing up. This paper attempts to explore the characteristics of the growth novel in Kite pursuers from four aspects, starting from the text of the novel. First of all, it analyzes the characteristics of the novels in the content of the growing up novel, shows the psychological crisis experienced by the protagonist in the process of growing up, and adopts the autobiography method to integrate the author's personal life experience into the works. Secondly, there are many leading and growing partners who play an important role in the protagonist's growth path, which coincides with the characters of the typical growth novel. Thirdly, whether from the formulaic plot structure, the hero's epiphany, as well as the narrative angle, the novel embodies the characteristics of the narrative structure as a growth novel. Finally, this paper discusses the image of "kite". The author of the novel, through his unique writing techniques, skillfully combines the simple image of "kite" with the cultural factors with Afghan characteristics such as Arab society and Muslim religion. To make this novel an Afghan-specific growth story. Through the detailed analysis of the text, this paper further excavates the "Kite pursuers" in the content, character shaping, structure and cultural ideas and other aspects of common and innovative with the traditional growth novel.
