创伤理论视角下对《小镇畸人》的研究

【摘要】：舍伍德·安德森是二十世纪美国文学史上一位重要作家，而《小镇畸人》是他最具有代表性的短篇小说集。安德森独具慧眼地发现了“小镇”这块净土来展现他的智慧和才能。该作品由二十五个故事组成，通过对二十三个不同人物的刻画，安德森巧妙地为我们展现了生活的现实，而更深层次来看，作者意在探索人类心灵的现实。本论文由六部分组成。引言部分首先介绍了作者安德森以及小镇畸人这部作品。随后综述了中外评论家对这部作品的评论角度，最后阐述了这篇论文的研究重点与主题。创伤作为一种普遍的心理现象，常常被当作文学叙事的主题，本文试图用创伤理论解读这部作品。第一章概述了创伤理论，包括创伤的含义，创伤理论的形成与发展，以及创伤理论在文化、历史和文学等人文学科的研究应用。在第二章中，，通过对文本的细读，笔者指出了《小镇畸人》中的人物种种创伤症状的表现。其中包括强迫性重复症，解离，压抑以及沟通障碍。第三章分析了小说中人物创伤症状的原因，包括社会原因和一些人为因素，例如身体创伤，儿时记忆创伤和爱情创伤。笔者结合书中典型人物的故事对造成他们创伤症状的原因进行了剖析。第四章探讨了《小镇畸人》作为一部创伤小说的文学价值。安德森通过创作畸人形象对其自身进行了创伤治疗，并且给同样身处困境的人们以启示。另外，创伤文学的真实性，悲剧美和自白性书写在这部作品中同样有所体现。《小镇畸人》的问世对现代美国文学的发展，尤其是美国短篇小说的发展起到了承前启后的、里程碑式的重要作用。
[Abstract]:Sherwood Anderson is an important writer in the history of American literature in the 20th century. Anderson discovered the Pure Land of small Town to show his wisdom and talent. The work is composed of 25 stories. By depicting 23 different characters, Anderson cleverly shows us the reality of life. In a deeper sense, the author intends to explore the reality of the human mind. This paper consists of six parts. The introduction first introduces the author Anderson and the small town odontists. After that, the author summarizes the comments of Chinese and foreign critics on this work, and finally expounds the research focus and theme of this thesis. As a universal psychological phenomenon, trauma is often regarded as the theme of literary narration. The first chapter summarizes the theory of trauma, including the meaning of trauma, the formation and development of trauma theory, and the application of trauma theory in the humanities such as culture, history and literature. In the second chapter, by reading the text carefully, the author points out the manifestations of the traumatic symptoms of the characters. These include obsessive-compulsive duplication, dissociation, depression, and communication disorders. The third chapter analyzes the causes of traumatic symptoms of characters in the novel, including social reasons and some human factors, such as physical trauma, childhood memory trauma and love trauma. The author analyzes the causes of their traumatic symptoms based on the stories of the typical characters in the book. The fourth chapter discusses the literary value of the novel of Trauma. Anderson treated himself by creating an image of an unorthodox person, and enlighten people who are also in trouble. In addition, the authenticity of trauma literature, the beauty of tragedy and the writing of confessions are also reflected in this work. In particular, the development of American short stories plays an important role in connecting the past and the future.
