论《英国佬的另一个岛》中的讽刺艺术

【摘要】:《英国佬的另一个岛》是乔治·萧伯纳所有作品中唯一一部探究爱尔兰民族性和英国民族性的戏剧,唯一一部大部分场景设置在爱尔兰的作品。目前,国内研究几乎空白。而大多数国外评论家都是从虚假的舞台爱尔兰人和舞台英国人,剧中的地方自治政策,以及殖民主义和后殖民主义色彩等角度进行解析。而本文主要根据乔治·泰丝特对讽刺的定义,再结合国内外相关学者的研究,系统地从讽刺的角度,着重对萧伯纳笔下的讽刺对象进行探讨。 本文研究视角新颖,许多评论家虽提及了剧中的讽刺意味,却缺乏系统的梳理。论文对讽刺对象的探讨更加深入。在分析英国政府政治言辞时,不仅剖析其地方自治政策的虚伪性,而且对其土地法令进行讽刺;分析民族性时,不仅评判了凯尔特文艺复兴运动和殖民主义所塑造的扭曲的舞台民族性,而且对现实生活中国家内部人民互相欺压的真实民族性进行讽刺;批判资本主义时,不仅披露了其剥削的本质,而且对其手段进行讽刺。 论文由三部分组成。第一部分是引言,简要介绍萧伯纳和《英国佬》,该剧的国内外研究现状,并简单梳理了讽刺的演变,含义和种类。第二部分是文章的主体,包括三个章节。第一章揭示萧伯纳对英国政府政治言辞的讽刺,着重讨论爱尔兰土地法和自由党人代表—博饶本所宣扬的地方自治。萧伯纳讽刺了英国意图帮助爱尔兰人解决土地问题的伪善,以及博饶本假想在实现地方自治后,解放、发展罗斯库伦的伪善。从而体现了他对殖民主义的痛恨,渴望建立国家联邦的理想。第二章通过解析凯尔特文艺复兴运动和殖民主义臆造的舞台形象,以及讽刺现实生活中爱尔兰人和英国人相互欺压现象,强烈批判了爱尔兰性和英国性。从而表明:作为一名英爱作家,萧伯纳倡导一种民主平等动态的民族关系。第三章对资本主义利用阴险手段谋得议员位置,假借发展罗斯库伦无情剥削当地土地,劳动力和文化资源的行为进行了讽刺,从而揭示了萧伯纳作为一名费边主义者对资本主义的强烈批判。 最后是论文的结论部分,对论文进行综述。本论文拟通过对讽刺技巧和讽刺对象的分析,旨在更好地理解萧伯纳的创作思想,以期推动该剧在中国的发展。
[Abstract]:The other Isle of the British is the only play by George Bernard Shaw that explores Irish and British ethos, and the only one in which most of the scenes are set in Ireland. At present, the domestic research is almost blank. Most foreign critics analyze it from the angles of false stage Irish and British, local autonomy policy, colonialism and postcolonialism. According to George Tester's definition of satire, and combined with the research of scholars at home and abroad, this paper systematically discusses the satirical object of Bernard Shaw's works from the perspective of satire. Although many critics refer to the satire in the play, they lack a systematic combing. The thesis discusses the satire object more deeply. When analyzing the British government's political rhetoric, it not only analyzes the hypocrisy of its local autonomy policy, but also satirizes its land law. When analyzing the nationality, it not only judges the distorted stage nationality created by the Celtic Renaissance and colonialism, but also satirizes the real nationality in real life in which the people in the country oppress each other. In criticizing capitalism, it not only reveals the nature of its exploitation, but also satirizes its means. The paper consists of three parts. The first part is an introduction, briefly introduces Bernard Shaw and British Man, the present situation of the study at home and abroad, and briefly combs the evolution, meaning and types of satire. The second part is the main body of the article, including three chapters. The first chapter reveals Bernard Shaw's satire on the political rhetoric of the British government, focusing on Irish land law and the local autonomy advocated by the representative of the Liberals, Boraub. Bernard Shaw satirized the hypocrisy of Britain's intention to help the Irish solve the land problem, and the idea of Boraubon's hypocrisy to liberate and develop Rothkoulen's hypocrisy after local self-government. This reflected his hatred of colonialism and his desire to establish a federation. The second chapter analyzes the stage images of the Celtic Renaissance and colonialism, and satirizes the phenomenon that Irish and British oppress each other in real life, which strongly criticizes Irish and British. It shows that as a writer of England and Ireland, Bernard Shaw advocates a kind of democratic and equal dynamic national relationship. The third chapter satirizes capitalism's exploitation of local land, labor and cultural resources by using insidious means to gain a seat as a member of parliament, using the pretence of developing Roschoulon to exploit local land, labor and cultural resources. This reveals Bernard Shaw's strong criticism of capitalism as a Fabian. The last part is the conclusion of the paper. Through the analysis of satire techniques and satirical objects, this thesis aims to better understand Bernard Shaw's creative thoughts and promote the development of the play in China.
