从《卿卿如晤》透视路易斯的苦难观和超越观

【摘要】:《卿卿如晤》是C.S.路易斯丧妻之后所写的一部悼亡笔记。面临苦难时,路易斯内心想法的真实裸露,使得这部悼亡手记显得纵横交错、险象环生,并最终在上帝那里归于静寂平和。 死亡的悲痛、生与死的隔绝、信仰的困惑是苦难在这部作品中的具体体现。除记述苦难外,《卿卿如晤》也显示了路易斯超越苦难的过程。在这一过程中,追问苦难、肯定苦难、承载苦难是路易斯超越苦难的重要步骤。借着不休的追问,路易斯对苦难进行了一番质问与审视;借着理性的思辨,路易斯思考了苦难带来的新奥秘,对生与死的隔绝、信仰的困惑有了新的看法;借着信靠中的忍耐,路易斯最终走出了这段周而复始的悲痛情绪。 路易斯之所以能超越苦难与他苦难的人生经历和深刻的苦难观是分不开的。早年的丧母之痛、幼年寄宿学校的悲惨生活、青年时期战争的噩梦和暮年爱妻的离世使路易斯对苦难有一番特别的感受与体悟。受基督教文化的影响,路易斯的苦难观包含了对苦难存在与上帝全能、全善关系的分析,对苦难积极意义的肯定以及视苦难为“奥秘”而非“问题”的思想,这一苦难观为路易斯独特的超越方式提供了理论依据。 为突出路易斯超越方式的特点,通过对作品与同为悼亡散文的《浮生六记》的比较,发现两者都面临相同的丧妻之痛、生死之隔绝,而且两人都从宗教信仰中寻找苦难的原因,但两人却采用了不同的克服悲痛的方法和不同的超越方式。相比于“境界式”超越在人性自足基础上对人性修为的肯定,路易斯所秉持的“对话式”超越更倾向于在“原罪说”基础上对人自身修为的认同,这一点也正是路易斯能够坚持在忍耐中承载苦难的原因。
[Abstract]:It's C.S. A note of mourning written by Louis after he lost his wife. In the face of suffering, the true nudity of Louis' inner thoughts made the memoir of mourning crisscrossed, perilous, and ultimately relegated to the peace of God. The grief of death, the isolation of life and death, and the perplexity of faith are the concrete expressions of suffering in this work. In addition to documenting suffering, it is also a sign of Louis' transcendence of suffering. In this process, asking suffering, affirming suffering, carrying suffering is an important step for Louis to transcend suffering. Through constant questioning, Louis questioned and examined the suffering; through rational thinking, Louis pondered the new mystery brought by suffering, and had a new view on the isolation of life and death, and the confusion of belief; With the patience of faith, Louis finally stepped out of this cycle of grief. The reason why Louis can transcend suffering is inseparable from his life experience and profound view of suffering. The pain of bereavement, the tragic life of boarding schools, the nightmares of war in youth and the death of his wife in his twilight years gave Louis a special feeling and understanding of suffering. Influenced by Christian culture, Louis' view of suffering includes an analysis of the relationship between the existence of suffering and God's omnipotence and all goodness, the affirmation of the positive meaning of suffering, and the idea that suffering is regarded as a "mystery" rather than a "problem". This view of hardship provides a theoretical basis for Louis' unique way of transcendence. In order to highlight the characteristics of Louis' transcendental style, by comparing the works with the six stories of floating Life, which are the same prose for mourning and death, it is found that both of them face the same pain of bereavement of their wives, isolation of life and death, and both of them look for the cause of suffering from their religious beliefs. But they adopted different ways to overcome grief and different ways to transcend it. Compared with the affirmation of the cultivation of human nature on the basis of self-sufficiency of human nature, the transcendence of "dialogue" held by Louis is more inclined to recognize the self-cultivation of human beings on the basis of "original sin theory". This was also why Louis was able to hold on to suffering in patience.
