《紫色》中的妇女主义母性观研究

女性主义理论家普遍认为母性（motherhood）是女性主义理论的中心课题。许多西方女权主义者认为“母性”（motherhood）是女性受压迫的根源所在,而非裔母性观却与之截然不同。在非裔文化里,“母性”本身并不构成对黑人妇女的压迫,相反,它是母亲力量的源泉和抚育孩子成长的必备素质。作为一位黑人女性作家,艾丽丝·沃克能够进入到那些只有黑人和女性才能够进入的情感领域。因此,她十分关注这些边缘化的一群人,尤其是黑人妇女的问题。毫无疑问,“母性”也是她的代表作——《紫色》的一个重要主题。结合非裔母性观的三个基本涵义以及沃克的妇女主义思想,本文认为妇女主义母性理论应该包括三个方面:保护并养育孩子,传承黑人文化以及热爱团结所有的人类。然后本文力图通过详细的文本分析,阐述小说中的“妇女主义的母性”这一主题。通过对《紫色》这部小说的深刻剖析,我们可以看到小说中的几乎所有的妇女陷入到为人之母的困境中。她们在种族压迫与性别歧视下被迫与自己的亲生孩子分离而又被迫去抚养别人的孩子,成为他者母亲。尽管如此,她们仍像孩子的亲生母亲那样尽心尽力地养育孩子。她们还非常重视“母亲线”因为在非裔社会里“母亲线”代表着祖...
