从评价理论的角度看艾米莉·狄金森诗歌中的自然观

艾米莉·狄金森(1830-1886)是历史上最为伟大和独特的诗人之一。尽管她终生隐居,但却对世界有着非常独特和深入的理解。她的诗歌主要以爱情、宗教、自然和死亡为主题。在出版的1775首诗歌中,其中以自然为主题的诗歌就有500多首。在狄金森时期,美国流行着两大思潮——清教主义和超验主义。狄金森深受这两大思想的影响。她的自然主题诗歌所承载的自然观往往既有清教主义的痕迹又有超验主义的特点。由于这两种思想对于自然的观点截然相反,因此,狄金森的自然主题诗歌有时充满着对自然的热爱,有时却又带有恐怖的情绪。而国内外学者对艾米莉·狄金森的诗歌从语言学角度的分析尚待进一步发展。因此,本文拟从评价理论的角度分析艾米莉·狄金森矛盾的自然观。 评价理论是对韩礼德的人际元功能的继承和发展。该理论聚焦于语篇语义层面而非社会语境或词汇语法层面,是语篇分析的有利工具,尤其对狄金森诗歌不符传统语法规则的特点尤为适用。评价理论拥有三大子系统——态度系统、介入系统和级差系统。这三大子系统构成了一套语篇分析的完整体系。因此,本文拟通过应用评价理论来分析艾米莉·狄金森自然主题的诗歌,并最终得出结论：艾米莉·狄金森的自然观...
