词块在高中英语写作中应用情况的案例调查研究

【摘要】:作为外语学习的一项重要输出技能,写作是外语学习中词汇、句法、篇章及逻辑思维能力的综合体现。新《普通高中英语课程标准》的颁布对学生的写作能力提出了更高的要求。近年来,由于在二语习得中的优势,使得越来越多的研究者将词块理论进一步拓展研究。词块通常以固定或半固定模式化的整体结构储存于大脑当中,它的使用可以大大提高写作的流利性、准确性和地道性。一些学者将词块理论应用到实际教学当中已取得显著成效。现阶段对词块的研究大多是针对大学生的实证教学研究,针对中学生的调查研究较少,因此,本研究旨在进一步丰富词块的应用调查研究,进一步促进高中生英语写作水平的提高。本研究为调查部分高中生写作中词块应用的基本情况,采用了 Michael Lewis的词块理论,使用了文本分析法、问卷调查法和访谈法。主要收集了60份高二学生的写作样本,128份有效问卷和10名学生的访谈结果。采用对比分析的方法通过研究学生词块使用的类型、频率、正确率之间的差异,调查高分组和低分组学生之间成绩差异的现状,分析原因,从而找出学生写作以及词块学习中存在的问题。经过分析,本研究得出以下结论:第一、高低分组学生在词块的使用类型上存在较大差异。第二、大部分学生都能认识到词块的重要性以及其在写作中的作用,但是在日常学习中对词块的积累仍然有待提高。第三、学生写作中词块的正确使用量与成绩两者具有较高的相关性。第四、教师在学生词块积累运用的过程中,起着很强的引导作用。我们应该鼓励教师在日常写作教学中积极引导激发学生利用词块进行写作的意识,帮助学生辨识、分类并在写作中应用词块,培养学生科学的写作方法,拓宽写作渠道,大力提升词块对学生写作产生的积极推动作用,从而提高学生的英语写作水平和学习能力。
[Abstract]:As an important output skill in foreign language learning, writing is the vocabulary and syntax in foreign language learning. The promulgation of the New English Curriculum Standard for Senior High School puts forward higher requirements for students' writing ability. In recent years, due to their advantages in second language acquisition. As a result, more and more researchers will further expand the study of lexical chunks. Lexical chunks are usually stored in the brain with fixed or semi-fixed global structures, and their use can greatly improve fluency in writing. Some scholars have made remarkable achievements in applying lexical chunks theory to practical teaching. At present, most of the researches on lexical chunks are aimed at the empirical teaching of college students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to further enrich the application of lexical chunks. In order to investigate the application of lexical chunks in some senior high school students, Michael Lewis's lexical chunks theory is adopted in this study. Text analysis, questionnaire and interview methods were used to collect 60 writing samples of senior high school students. 128 valid questionnaires and interview results of 10 students were used to study the differences among the types, frequency and accuracy of lexical chunks used by students by means of comparative analysis. By investigating the present situation of the difference between the high score group and the low group students, and analyzing the reasons, we can find out the problems existing in the students' writing and lexical chunks learning. Through the analysis, this study draws the following conclusions: first. There are great differences in the use types of lexical chunks among high and low group students. Secondly, most students can realize the importance of lexical chunks and their role in writing. However, the accumulation of lexical chunks in daily learning still needs to be improved. Third, the correct usage of lexical chunks and their achievements in students' writing have a high correlation. 4th, teachers in the process of students' lexical chunks accumulation and use. We should encourage teachers to actively guide students to use lexical chunks to write, to help students identify, classify and use lexical chunks in writing. Cultivate students' scientific writing methods, broaden writing channels, and vigorously promote the positive role of lexical chunks on students' writing, thus improving students' English writing level and learning ability.
