高一学生英语笔记特征研究

【摘要】:笔记是课堂知识点的巩固和补充。笔记通过记录所学内容,促进记忆和思考,有效控制学习者的认知和对材料、信息的加工过程,促进新旧知识间的内在联系。无数学者和研究者致力于笔记研究,但很少有学者研究高中生英语笔记特征。为此,本文旨在探究高一学生英语笔记特征情况。主要研究问题是:(1)高一学生英语笔记在笔记数量、形式和内容这三方面的特征如何?(2)高分组和低分组学生的英语笔记特征是否存在差异?(3)学生的笔记数量和形式与其英语成绩是否存在相关性?如何相关?本研究调查了高中生英语笔记特征的总体情况。研究选取盐城景山中学的40位高一学生的英语笔记为研究对象。为研究笔记特征,研究者首先收集并复制了 40位学生的英语笔记本。与此同时,研究者统计并整理了 40名学生的笔记数量、形式和内容,然后将所有数据输入电脑用SPSS 18.0进行分析。随后,又从40位学生中抽取10位学生进行半结构访谈,5名代表高分组学生,另5名代表低分组学生。访谈用中文进行,研究者对整个过程进行录音并随后转写成英文进行研究。通过对所采集的数据进行定量和定性分析,本研究得出如下结论:第一,高一学生英语笔记使用情况的特征主要呈现在笔记数量、形式和内容方面。(1)笔记数量:记笔记过程中英文字符比中文字符更普遍。英文字符使用的平均数为1809,而中文字符369,中、英字符间相差1440个字符。就笔记记录的页数来看,绝大多数学生在40-60页间,其中有11位学生笔记数量远远超过60页,然而,仍有1-2个学生一个学期的笔记页数不足30页,可见他们还没有养成记笔记的意识。(2)笔记形式:最经常使用的是“完整中文”,其次分别是“英文单词或短语”、“符号”和“英文缩写”。(3)笔记内容:学生笔记大篇幅记录的是“Reading”部分和“Word List”部分的知识点。第二,高分组和低分组在英语笔记上存在明显差异。就笔记数量来说,高分组同学(S12,S21,S25,S27,S29,S37)记录的英语笔记数量超过平均数369个字符。低分组学生(S3,S8,S11,S19,S26,S31和S34)记录的英语笔记数量少于平均数369字符。S11英语笔记仅记录了 102个字符。其次,大多数高分组学生比低分组学生在笔记形式方面更多的采用“完全中文”形式。高分组的学生中,除S12和S29,其余5名学生采用“完全中文”的形式远高于班级平均数67字符。低分组的7个学生中,6名学生采用“完全中文”的形式低于班级平均数67个字符,然而,高分组学生和低分组学生在“符号”和“英文缩写”形式上并没有显著差异。第三,学生的笔记与其学生的英语成绩呈显著正相关。从数量上看,学生笔记页数与学生英语成绩成正相关(r=.781)。笔记记录页数越多,英语成绩就越优秀。从笔记记录的形式来看,“完全中文”与“英文单词或短语”也与学生的英语成绩呈正相关。而“英文缩写”与“符号”形式与学生成绩并无关系。此次研究对英语教学的启示是:教师应逐步引导学生掌握记笔记的原则和技巧,指导学生使用一些具体的笔记策略,并更多地关注低分组学生,指导他们养成良好的笔记习惯。学生也应该充分认识到英语笔记的重要性。
[Abstract]:Note is to consolidate and supplement of classroom knowledge. Notes by recording the content, improve memory and thinking, effective control of the learner's cognitive and the materials, processing information, and promote the internal relations between the old and new knowledge. In the study notes of many scholars and researchers, but few scholars study on characteristics of high school English notes students. Therefore, this paper aims to explore the characteristics of high school students English notes. The main research question is: (1) high school students English Notes in the note number, form and content of these three aspects? (2) whether there are differences between English notes feature high achievers and low achievers (3 students)? The number of notes and forms and their English achievement whether there is a correlation? How? This study investigated the general situation of English notes the characteristics of senior high school students. The selection of Yancheng Jingshan Hill middle school 40 high school English notes As the research object. To study the notes feature, the researchers first collect and copy the 40 student's English notebook. At the same time, researchers in statistics and sorting out the number of students in 40 notes, form and content, and then input all data into computer with SPSS 18 were analyzed. Then, from the 40 students selected 10 students were semi-structured interviews, 5 representatives of high score students, the other 5 representatives of low score students. Interviews with Chinese, researchers recorded and then transcribed into English research on the whole process. Through quantitative and qualitative analysis of the collected data, the main conclusions are as follows: first, high a student notes in English usage features presented in the note number, form and content. (1) the number of notes: English character notes process is more common than Chinese characters. The average number of characters used for English 1809, 369, and Chinese character, the character difference between 1440 characters. Note the number of pages, most of the students in the 40-60 page, there are 11 students far more than 60 pages of notes, however, there are still 1-2 students a semester notes pages less than 30 pages, they are visible don't make notes consciousness. (2) Note: the most frequently used is "complete Chinese", followed by "English word or phrase", "symbol" and "English abbreviation". (3) notes: Student Notes length record is "Reading" and "Word knowledge point the part of List. Second, high and low groups there were significant differences in the English notes. The notes number, high achievers (S12, S21, S25, S27, S29, S37) the number of English notes recorded more than the average of 369 characters. The low achievers (S3, S8, S11, S19 S26, S31, and S34) The number of English notes is less than the average number of 369 character.S11 notes in English only recorded 102 characters. Secondly, most high score students in the form of notes with more "complete Chinese" form. High achievers, in addition to S12 and S29, the remaining 5 students with "Chinese" the form is much higher than the average number of class 67 characters. 7 students in low score group, 6 students with "complete Chinese" in the form of lower than the average number of 67 characters, however, high achievers and low achievers "symbol" and "English abbreviation" form and there is no significant difference. Third, significantly is related to the notes of the students and students' English achievements. From the quantitative point of view, student notes pages and their English language proficiency is positively correlated (r=.781). The notes more pages, English is more outstanding. From the notes in the form of See, "Chinese" and "English word or phrase" and the English scores of the students were positively correlated. "English abbreviation" and "symbol" form and student achievement. There is no relationship between the Enlightenment of research on English Teaching: teachers should gradually guide the students to master the principles and skills of written notes, guide students to use some the note taking strategy, and pay more attention to the low score students, guide them to develop good habits. Notes students should be fully aware of the importance of English notes.
