以策略培训为基础的课堂教学对初中英语阅读能力的影响

【摘要】：自20世纪70年代起,外语教学研究的重点逐渐由教师的教转向了学生的学。越来越多的教育工作者意识到了学习策略的重要性。阅读策略作为语言学习策略的重要组成部分,也引起了教育界的高度重视。本研究旨在探究SBI教学模式(把阅读策略训练融入到平时的阅读教学中)对初中英语阅读能力的影响。为了验证SBI教学模式的可行性和有效性,笔者进行了一项实证研究。本研究以连云港光明双语学校八年级的80名学生作为研究对象。这80名学生分别选自两个平行班,每班40人,由同一名英语教师授课,使用相同的英语教材。其中一个班为实验班,另一个班为控制班。笔者对实验班的学生采用SBI模式进行阅读教学,而对控制班的学生采用传统的教学模式,不对学生进行任何阅读策略指导。本研究通过问卷调查,阅读测试和访谈收集相关数据,并使用SPSS13.0软统计件对收集的数据进行分析和讨论。本实验结论概括如下:(1)初中生当前阅读策略使用意识淡薄,阅读策略使用频率不高。(2)SBI训练后,实验班学生的策略使用频率和阅读成绩相比于控制班有显著提高。这说明SBI教学模式是可行的,有利于提高学生的策略使用意识和阅读成绩。
[Abstract]:Since the 1970s, the emphasis of foreign language teaching has shifted from teachers' teaching to students' learning. More and more educators are aware of the importance of learning strategies. Reading strategies, as an important part of language learning strategies, have also attracted great attention in the field of education. The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of SBI teaching mode (integrating reading strategy training into normal reading teaching) on junior high school English reading ability. In order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of SBI teaching model, the author carried out an empirical study. In this study, 80 students in Grade 8 of Guangming Bilingual School in Lianyungang were selected. The 80 students were selected from two parallel classes with 40 students in each class. They were taught by the same English teacher and used the same English teaching materials. One class is an experimental class and the other is a control class. The author adopts the SBI mode to teach reading to the students in the experimental class, and the traditional teaching mode to the students in the control class, and does not give any reading strategy guidance to the students. This study collected data by questionnaire, reading test and interview, and analyzed and discussed the collected data by using SPSS13.0 soft statistic. The results are summarized as follows: (1) the junior middle school students have a weak sense of using reading strategies. After the training of low frequency of reading strategy use, the students of the experimental class have significantly higher frequency of using strategies and reading scores than those of the control class. This shows that the SBI teaching model is feasible and helpful to improve students' awareness of using strategies and reading scores.
