发现学习法在高中英语语法教学中的效果研究

【摘要】:普通高中《英语课程标准》明确指出:“根据高中学生认知能力发展的特点和发展的需求,高中课程应强调在进一步发展学生综合语言运用能力的基础上,着重提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。”因此,在英语教学的过程中,教师应鼓励学生积极探究,用多种方法来获取知识,以形成具有高中生特点的英语学习的过程与方法。很明显,学生这种学习的过程实质上就是发现的过程。在高中英语语法教学中这一理念体现的尤为突出,新课标提倡教师需要明确中学语法教学的目的,并且改变语法教学的方式。在此背景下,为了更好地研究发现学习法在高中语法教学中的效果,作者设计并回答了以下两个问题:(1)采用发现学习法教学语法,学生的语法成绩是否能有效的提高?(2)与传统语法教学方法相比,发现学习法是否能激励学生的学习兴趣、学习动机?本研究采用实验法,以阆中市阆中中学的高二两个班为实验对象,共106名学生。其中一个为实验班,一个为控制班。在语法教学课中,实验班采用发现学习法教学语法,实验过程包括:创设具体情境,学生发现问题,学生探讨讨论,得出结论,巩固练习,实际应用。而控制班利用传统的教学方法教授语法。实验以问卷调查及测试形式在实验前后分别对受试者的英语语法水平和英语综合能力进行测试,使用统计软件进行了统计分析,数据分析结果表明:发现学习法有助于学生语法成绩的提高,从而提高英语语法的学习效果。与传统的语法教学相比,发现学习法能更好的激励学生的语法学习兴趣、学习动机,促进学生语法能力的获得。论文由五章组成,第一章是引言,主要介绍了研究的背景、意义以及论文的结构。第二章是文献综述,主要论述前人的相关研究及国内外的研究成果及现状。第三章是研究设计,包括研究问题、研究对象、研究工具以及研究过程。第四章是对研究结果的分析和讨论。在文章的最后作者探讨了该研究对英语语法教学的启示意义及其该研究的局限性,并对日后的研究提出了一些建议。本文与教学实际相结合,提供了大量教学实例,旨在针对语法教学现状对高中英语教师提供一些理论指导和教学建议,希望能对广大高中英语教师们有所帮助。
[Abstract]:According to the characteristics and needs of the development of senior high school students' cognitive ability, the senior high school curriculum should emphasize the further development of students' comprehensive language use ability. Emphasis is placed on improving students' ability to obtain information, process information, analyze and solve problems in English. " Therefore, in the process of English teaching, teachers should encourage students to explore actively and acquire knowledge in various ways so as to form the process and method of English learning with the characteristics of senior high school students. It is clear that the process of learning by students is essentially a process of discovery. This idea is especially prominent in English grammar teaching in senior high school. The new curriculum standard advocates that teachers should clarify the purpose of grammar teaching in middle school and change the way of grammar teaching. In this context, in order to better study the effect of discovery learning method in grammar teaching in senior high school, the author designs and answers the following two questions: 1) using discovery learning method to teach grammar. Compared with traditional grammar teaching methods, can students find that learning method can stimulate students' interest and motivation? In this study, 106 students in Langzhong Middle School of Langzhong City were enrolled in this study. One of them is the experimental class and the other is the control class. In grammar teaching, the experimental class adopts the method of discovery learning in grammar teaching. The experimental process includes: creating specific situation, students finding problems, students discussing and discussing, drawing conclusions, consolidating practice and practical application. The control class uses traditional teaching methods to teach grammar. Before and after the experiment, the subjects' English grammar level and English comprehensive ability were tested by questionnaire and test, and the statistical analysis was carried out with statistical software. The result of data analysis shows that the learning method is helpful to improve the students' grammar achievement and improve the learning effect of English grammar. Compared with the traditional grammar teaching, it is found that the learning method can stimulate students' interest and motivation in grammar learning and promote the acquisition of students' grammar ability. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly introduces the background, significance and structure of the thesis. The second chapter is a literature review, mainly discusses the previous related research and domestic and foreign research results and current situation. The third chapter is the research design, including research problems, research objects, research tools and research process. The fourth chapter is the analysis and discussion of the research results. At the end of the paper, the author discusses the implications of the study for the teaching of English grammar and its limitations, and puts forward some suggestions for future research. Combining with teaching practice, this paper provides a large number of teaching examples, aiming at providing some theoretical guidance and teaching suggestions for senior high school English teachers in the light of the present situation of grammar teaching, in the hope that it can be of help to the majority of senior high school English teachers.
