高中英语阅读教学中图式理论的运用探究

【摘要】:英语阅读教学是高中英语教学的主要内容。然而,在我国当前的高中英语阅读教学中,仍然以传统的阅读教学法为主,它强调阅读的重点就是传授词、句、语法,却忽略了学生头脑中与阅读材料相关的图式知识的学习、积累和运用。导致学生逐渐养成了不良的阅读习惯,阅读水平停滞不前,阅读能力无法提高。这不仅与新课程改革的要求相去甚远,同时也难以适应高考改革对学生英语阅读能力的要求。针对这些问题,本文从图式理论出发,对高中英语阅读教学进行了实验研究,论证了如何运用图式理论指导高中英语阅读教学,以有效提高学生的英语阅读能力。文章首先介绍了研究的背景、意义和问题。然后回顾了图式理论在国内外英语阅读教学中的应用情况。笔者发现对图式理论的运用研究主要集中在高校,但在高中阶段,该理论在英语阅读教学中的运用还相对有限。接着文章分别对阅读及图式进行了理论研究,并分析了图式理论与阅读理解的相互关系。之后,具体阐述了图式理论在高中英语阅读教学中的运用,首先调查分析了笔者所在的鲁山一高的学生在英语阅读中普遍存在的问题,然后总结了高中英语阅读教学中使用图式理论的原则,再据此提出了基于图式理论的五步英语阅读教学法。最后,为证实此方法的可行性和有效性,笔者对所任教的的两个班级进行了为期一个学期的英语阅读教学实验。在实验班采用基于图式理论的五步新型阅读教学法,而控制班则仍采用传统的阅读教学法。在实验前后分别对学生进行难度相当的阅读理解测试,并对统计的成绩进行整理和分析。结果表明实验班的英语阅读成绩比起控制班有了很大幅度的提高,基于图式理论的五步英语阅读教学法是可行的并且能够有效地提高学生的英语阅读能力。因此,笔者建议在高中英语阅读教学中,教师们能够充分认识到图式理论的重要指导作用,并将其贯穿于阅读教学的始终以提高学生的英语阅读能力和水平。
[Abstract]:English reading teaching is the main content of high school English teaching. However, in the current English reading teaching in senior high school in China, the traditional reading teaching method is still the main method. It emphasizes that the emphasis of reading is to teach words, sentences and grammar, but neglects the study of schematic knowledge related to reading materials in students' minds. Accumulation and application As a result, students gradually develop bad reading habits, reading stagnant, reading ability can not be improved. This is not only far from the requirements of the new curriculum reform, but also difficult to adapt to the requirements of the college entrance examination reform on students' English reading ability. Aiming at these problems, this paper makes an experimental study on English reading teaching in senior high school from schema theory, and demonstrates how to use schema theory to guide English reading teaching in senior high school so as to effectively improve students' English reading ability. The paper first introduces the background, significance and problems of the research. Then it reviews the application of schema theory in English reading teaching at home and abroad. The author finds that the application of schema theory is mainly focused on colleges and universities, but in senior middle school, the application of schema theory in English reading teaching is relatively limited. Then, the paper studies the theory of reading and schema, and analyzes the relationship between schema theory and reading comprehension. After that, the paper expounds the application of schema theory in English reading teaching in senior high school. Firstly, the author investigates and analyzes the common problems existing in English reading of the students in Lushan High School, where the author is located. Then it summarizes the principle of using schema theory in high school English reading teaching, and then puts forward a five-step English reading teaching method based on schema theory. Finally, in order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of this method, the author conducted a one-semester English reading teaching experiment in the two classes. In the experimental class, a new five-step reading method based on schema theory is adopted, while the traditional reading teaching method is still adopted in the control class. Before and after the experiment, the students were tested with the same difficulty in reading comprehension, and the statistical results were sorted out and analyzed. The results show that the English reading scores of the experimental class are much higher than that of the control class. The five-step English reading teaching method based on schema theory is feasible and can effectively improve the students' English reading ability. Therefore, the author suggests that teachers should be able to fully recognize the important guiding role of schema theory in high school English reading teaching and apply it to reading teaching in order to improve students' reading ability and level.
