中职学校英语教师专业发展研究

【摘要】：中等职业教育是我国中等教育的重要组成部分,是职业教育的基础层级和重要环节。随着我国职业教育的迅速发展,职业教育的教师队伍建设也受到高度重视。在大力发展与改革中等职业教育,以实现中等职业教育可持续、内涵式发展的过程中,师资队伍建设一直是改革与发展的核心问题。教师专业发展是职业教育教育改革和发展的必然要求,也是职业教育改革和发展的有效途径。在经济全球化、信息全球化的今天,中国涉外业迎来了空前的发展机遇与挑战。因此,在拥有涉外专业的中职学校中,英语教师的专业发展至关重要。由于中职学生的英语基础薄弱,且很多中职学校过于重视技能的实用性,忽视对中职学生的英语教育,导致当前中职学生的英语语言能力不能满足职场和市场的需求。这就使得中职学校英语教学的提高显得更为迫切和重要,英语教师的专业能力也必然要进一步提升。本研究选取拥有涉外护理专业的某中职学校的英语教师作为研究对象,以《中等职业学校教师专业发展标准》为依托,研究中职学校英语教师的专业发展状况,探究其中存在的问题,并为促进中职学校英语教师的专业发展提出相应的提升对策。本研究首先对“教师专业发展”、“中职学校”两个核心概念进行了界定,然后介绍了教师专业发展的相关背景知识,即研究的理论支撑。在此基础上,本研究采用调查研究法中的问卷法和观察法来收集资料,对当前中职学校英语教师专业发展状况进行分析。通过问卷调查发现,中职学校英语教师对《中等职业学校教师专业发展标准》的认可程度比较高,中职学校英语教师对自身履行该标准的认知状况也比较好。通过对20位中职学校英语教师进行课程观察发现,标识被试英语教师专业能力的行为出现最多,标识专业理念与师德的行为出现最少;被试英语教师专业发展的总体状况不容乐观,各项指标均低于期望平均分。基于此,本研究提出相应的改进策略,强化中职学校英语教师的专业理念与师德,促进其专业发展;帮助中职学校英语教师正确认识自我;关注中职学校英语教师的学缘情况。
[Abstract]:Secondary vocational education is an important part of secondary education in our country. It is the basic level and important link of vocational education. With the rapid development of vocational education in China, the construction of teachers in vocational education is highly valued. In the process of developing and reforming secondary vocational education in order to realize the sustainable and implicit development of secondary vocational education, the construction of teaching staff has always been the core problem of reform and development. The professional development of teachers is an inevitable requirement for the reform and development of vocational education and an effective way to reform and develop vocational education. In today's economic globalization and information globalization, China's foreign-related industry is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Therefore, the professional development of English teachers is very important in secondary vocational schools with foreign majors. Due to the weak English foundation of secondary vocational students and the fact that many secondary vocational schools attach too much importance to the practicability of skills and neglect the English education for secondary vocational school students, the current English language ability of secondary vocational school students can not meet the needs of the workplace and the market. This makes the improvement of English teaching in secondary vocational schools more urgent and important, and the professional ability of English teachers must be further improved. This study selects English teachers in a secondary vocational school with foreign nursing major as the research object, and studies the professional development of English teachers in secondary vocational schools based on the Standard of Teachers' Professional Development in Secondary Vocational Schools. To explore the existing problems, and to promote the professional development of secondary vocational school English teachers put forward the corresponding countermeasures. This paper first defines the two core concepts of "teacher professional development" and "secondary vocational school", and then introduces the relevant background knowledge of teacher professional development, that is, the theoretical support of the research. On this basis, the present study adopts questionnaire and observation methods to collect data and analyze the current professional development of English teachers in secondary vocational schools. Through the questionnaire survey, it is found that English teachers in secondary vocational schools have a relatively high degree of approval of the Standards of Teachers' Professional Development in Secondary Vocational Schools, and that English teachers in secondary vocational schools also have a better understanding of their own performance of the standards. Through the course observation of 20 English teachers in secondary vocational schools, it is found that the behavior of identifying the professional competence of the English teachers is the most, and the behavior of marking professional ideas and teachers' ethics is the least. The overall situation of English teachers' professional development is not optimistic, and the indicators are lower than the average score. Based on this, this study proposes corresponding improvement strategies to strengthen the professional concept and ethics of English teachers in secondary vocational schools, to promote their professional development, to help English teachers in secondary vocational schools to understand themselves correctly, and to pay close attention to the situation of English teachers in secondary vocational schools.
