【摘要】：词汇在英语学习中扮演重要的角色,掌握英语词汇可以有效地提高英语语言能力,因此词汇教学是英语教学中的一个重点。但目前的英语词汇教学效率比较低,学生普遍认为词汇学习已经成为英语学习中的一大难点。多年来国内外学者一直在探索有效的教学方法,其中情景教学法在英语词汇教学中的应用受到很多学者的关注。本文就情景教学法在初中英语词汇教学中的应用进行研究,主要围绕两个问题展开:一、情景教学法能提高学生学习英语词汇的兴趣与信心吗?二、情景教学法能提高学生的英语成绩吗?研究对象为陕西省榆林市初中二年级1班与3班的学生。在为期10个周的实验中,有关学习兴趣与信心的两次调查问卷和有关英语学习成绩的两次测试分别在实验前和实验后进行。本文将调查问卷与测试这两种测试工具运用到研究中,所有的数据通过普通的百分比和社会科学统计软件SPSS17.0进行了分析。经过数据分析,实验班学生学习英语词汇的兴趣和信心较控制班的学生来看有所提高,而且实验班的学生的英语班成绩高于控制班学生的英语成绩。由此表明:情景教学法可以提高学生学习词汇学习的兴趣与信心与情景教学法可以提高学生的英语成绩。所以情景教学法是一种行之有效的词汇教学方法。
