美国《2014年国别贸易壁垒评估报告》汉译实践报告

　　随着全球自由贸易的深入发展,国与国之间的经济竞争越来越激烈。各国都会在不同程度上设置贸易壁垒来保护本国的工业和市场。如今,中国正携手“一带一路”,不断深化与贸易伙伴的合作。为了帮助经济和贸易领域的人员和机构了解我国重要贸易伙伴存在的贸易壁垒,进而处理这些问题,笔者选取了美国贸易代表办公室发布的《2014年国别贸易壁垒评估报告》(2014 National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers)的欧盟和澳大利亚部分,共15000字,作为本实践报告的语料。该报告将贸易壁垒分为九类,包括贸易协定、政府采购、知识产权保护、服务贸易壁垒、投资壁垒、电子商务及其他壁垒等。由于该报告涉及经济、医学、法律、电信和国际贸易等领域的专门知识,其语言风格十分严谨,而且有许多长而复杂的句子、机构名称和文件名称。为了使翻译与原文的风格如出一辙,笔者决定以著名英语语言学家韩礼德(M.A.Halliday)的语域理论及其三要素“语场”、“语旨”和“语式”为指导,采用恰当的翻译策略来处理翻译过程中遇到的具体问题。本实践报告首先说明了此次翻译任务,介绍了源文本的内...
