美国国家科学基金会资助的纳米科研投入与产出分布特征研究

【摘要】:本文基于美国国家纳米技术计划的研发经费数据、国家科学基金会官网的纳米科研项目数据和Web of Science收录的国家科学基金会资助的纳米科学论文数据,运用科学计量学方法分析了美国国家科学基金会对美国纳米科研的整体资助情况,从而揭示了其投入和产出特征。 研究发现:(1)随着时间的推移,美国国家科学基金会投入的纳米研发经费、资助发表的纳米科学论文数量呈增加趋势,而纳米科研项目数量呈递减趋势。(2)美国国家科学基金会资助的纳米科研项目和纳米科学论文在机构、作者、Web of Science学科分类等层面上的分布呈现不均衡性。(3)美国国家科学基金会资助的纳米科学论文在总被引频次、篇均被引频次、H指数等计量指标上的值大于无基金资助的纳米科学论文。 本文的研究结果表明,在美国的纳米科研活动中,国家科学基金会在推动知识创新和提升论文学术影响力方面起积极作用。这也进一步说明战略性的资助政策对科学发展有积极影响。
[Abstract]:This paper is based on the research and development funding data of the National Nanotechnology Program of the United States, the nanoscience project data of the National Science Foundation's official website and the nanoscience papers funded by the National Science Foundation (Web of Science). By using the method of scientific metrology, this paper analyzes the overall funding of the National Science Foundation for nanoresearch in the United States, thus revealing the characteristics of its input and output. The study found that over time, the number of nanoscience papers funded by the National Science Foundation of the United States has been increasing. And the number of nanoscience projects is decreasing. (2) Nano-research projects and nanoscience papers funded by the National Science Foundation of the United States are in institutions. The authors present an uneven distribution at the level of the web of Science disciplinary classification. (3) the total citation frequency of nanoscience papers funded by the National Science Foundation of the United States, The values of H index of citation frequency are higher than those of unfunded nanoscience papers. The results show that the National Science Foundation (NSF) plays an active role in promoting knowledge innovation and enhancing the academic influence of papers in the nanoscience research activities in the United States. This further demonstrates that strategic funding policies have a positive impact on scientific development.
