[Abstract]:Chen Lanyan (Chen Lanyan), an associate professor in the Department of Social Welfare and Social Development at Nipsin University in Canada, analyzed the lack of gender statistics in the local (Tianjin) statistical system through a gender statistics research project. It is pointed out that this situation may have a negative impact on the local government's decision making, and is not conducive to the fairness of governance and the transformation of government functions to service type. The article is published in the March 2016 issue of the China Quarterly Journal (originally titled "China Quarterly Journal") in March 2016.
