从读经教育到信仰教育

【摘要】:本研究从四次读经争议入手,通过分析各次读经争论中的话语,梳理出潜藏在读经争论后的原因。在梳理过程中,比较中国近代三次读经争论和当代读经争论的不同,找出读经真正重要的功能。由于中国近代处于亡国灭种的边缘,中国的有志之士积极寻求救亡图存的方式,读经教育也成为众多方式中的一种。读经教育也因此被工具化。在前三次的读经教育中,经书的神圣性被消解。鲁迅、胡适等人把经书视为一般的史书、诗歌集,而章太炎则从章学诚手中接过"六经皆史"的概念,把经书当成是一部具体的历史,从中考见国粹,从而加剧了对经学的深层次瓦解。当代中国处在一个特殊的现代社会背景之中。信仰教育逐渐受到关注,读经与信仰教育之间再次发生关联。第四次读经教育的焦点不再呈现是否应该读经,而是应该怎样读经。本研究以康德的宗教哲学为理论视角,对第四次读经教育进行梳理,分析读经教育为何能承载信仰教育的功能,以及读经教育中的哲学信仰与宗教信仰究竟有何不同,从而得出读经教育中的核心既不在文言阅读能力的训练,也不在历史文化的传承,而是在于通过读经教育来承担信仰教育的责任。教育史上曾经出现以美育代宗教、以科学代宗教、以历史代宗教或以哲学代宗教的种种替代方案。本研究赞同以哲学代宗教的思路,而在中国语境中,哲学代宗教意味着以经学代宗教。这正是经学教育有必要复兴之根本原因。
[Abstract]:Starting with the controversy of four readings, this study analyzes the discourse in each debate, and finds out the reasons underlying the debate.In the process of combing, the author compares the differences between the three debates of reading the classics in modern China and the debates of reading the classics in contemporary times, and finds out the real important functions of reading the classics.As China is on the verge of extinction in modern times, Chinese people with lofty aspirations actively seek ways to save the nation from extinction, and reading classics education has become one of the many ways.Therefore, the education of reading classics is also instrumentalized.In the first three readings, the sanctity of the scriptures was dispelled.Lu Xun, Hu Shi and others regarded the classics as a general collection of historical books and poems, while Zhang Taiyan took over from Zhang Xuecheng the concept of "the six Classics are all History," treating the classics as a specific history and seeing the quintessence of the nation from the examination of the middle school.Thus exacerbates the deep level disintegration to the classics study.Contemporary China is in the background of a special modern society.Belief education has been paid more and more attention, and the relationship between Bible reading and faith education has occurred again.The focus of the fourth reading is no longer whether to read the classics, but how to read them.From the perspective of Kant's religious philosophy, this study combs the fourth reading education, analyzes why it can carry the function of faith education, and what is the difference between philosophical belief and religious belief in classics reading education.It is concluded that the core of reading classics education is neither the training of classical Chinese reading ability nor the heritage of history and culture, but the responsibility of faith education through classics reading education.In the history of education, there have been various alternative schemes of substituting aesthetic education for religion, science for religion, history for religion or philosophy for religion.This study agrees with the idea of replacing religion with philosophy, and in Chinese context, philosophy on behalf of religion means to replace religion with Confucian classics.This is precisely the basic reason that classics education needs to revive.
