数据驱动学习对高中生英语词汇搭配学习的影响实证研究

【摘要】：本文主要研究数据驱动学习对高中词汇搭配学习的影响。搭配是语言学领域最为重要的概念与内容之一,也是中学生进行英语学习的重点和难点之一。因受高考影响,高中英语教学中的词汇搭配地位明显不如语法搭配,从而导致了学生词汇搭配的使用上频频失误。而词汇搭配能力,对于学生英语水平的提高有着至关重要的作用。目前关于词汇搭配研究主要集中在两个方面：词汇搭配的错误以及错误产生的原因；词汇搭配知识与英语水平的关系。从已有研究来看,教学方法与语言迁移是造成词汇搭配错误的主要原因,而词汇搭配知识与英语水平关系紧密。但是关于词汇搭配在真实课堂中教授的实证研究却十分少见。本人试图将数据驱动学习的方法运用于词汇搭配学习,以期待数据驱动学习能够弥补传统词汇教学的不足,从而提高学生的词汇搭配知识。本研究采用以纸质材料为基础的数据驱动学习方法,以高中学生为研究对象,探讨了数据驱动学习对高一学生词汇搭配学习产生的效果。主要回答以下两个问题：(1)数据驱动学习对不同种类的词汇搭配产生何种影响?(2)数据驱动学习对词汇搭配的接受性知识与产出性知识的掌握有何影响?研究发现,数据驱动学习对实验中所选择的三类词汇搭配动词+名词、形容词+名词、副词+形容词均产生了积极影响,尤其是对于动词+名词以及形容词+名词的搭配,效果十分明显。在接受性知识与产出性知识的掌握上,数据驱动学习方法也都产生了积极影响。因此,数据驱动学习能较好地帮助学生掌握并使用英语词汇搭配。但由于本研究受试仅为某所高中的一个班级,实验时间也仅为一个月,结论有一定的局限性。
[Abstract]:This paper mainly studies the influence of data-driven learning on high school vocabulary collocation learning. Collocation is one of the most important concepts and contents in the field of linguistics. Under the influence of college entrance examination, the position of lexical collocation in English teaching in senior high school is obviously inferior to grammatical collocation, which leads to frequent mistakes in the use of lexical collocations. Lexical collocation ability plays an important role in improving students' English proficiency. At present, the researches on lexical collocation mainly focus on two aspects: the errors of lexical collocations and the causes of errors, and the relationship between lexical collocation knowledge and English proficiency. According to previous studies, teaching methods and language transfer are the main causes of lexical collocation errors, and lexical collocation knowledge is closely related to English proficiency. However, empirical research on lexical collocation in real classroom teaching is rare. I try to apply the method of data-driven learning to lexical collocation learning in the hope that data-driven learning can make up for the shortcomings of traditional vocabulary teaching and improve students' knowledge of lexical collocation. In this study, a paper-based data-driven learning method was used to investigate the effects of data-driven learning on vocabulary collocation learning among senior high school students. What is the effect of data-driven learning on different types of lexical collocations? how does data-driven learning affect the mastery of receptive and productive knowledge of lexical collocations? It is found that data-driven learning has a positive effect on the collocation of verb noun, adjective noun and adverb adjective, especially on the collocation of verb noun and adjective noun. The effect is very obvious. Data-driven learning methods also have a positive impact on the mastery of receptive and productive knowledge. Therefore, data-driven learning can help students to master and use English vocabulary collocation. However, because the subjects in this study are only one class in a high school and the experimental time is only one month, the conclusion has some limitations.
