高中生英语应用文写作中语用失误的分析研究

【摘要】:语言是一种交际的工具,而成功的交际不仅需要扎实的语言能力,也需要良好的语用能力。在外语教学中,教师把精力集中到语言教学上,忽视了语用知识的输入。因而在应用文写作的输出过程中常常会出现语用失误。纵观近年来对语用失误的研究发现大多数学者都将目光投向于大学生口语交际中的语用失误,而很少有人关注高中生英语书面表达中的语用失误。在英语写作文体中,应用文是具有交际功能的。新课标对高中生英语应用文的表达能力也做了具体的要求,语用失误的出现显然是与此背道而驰的。因此,本文作者结合语用失误理论,分析了高中生英语应用文写作中的语用失误。以高中生英语应用文作文作为研究对象,采取文本分析和问卷调查相结合的方法探讨高中生英语应用文写作中的语用失误类型、出现语用失误的原因,并对现代英语教学提出几点建议,以提高学生的语用能力,减少或避免不必要的语用失误。通过研究发现:高中生英语应用文写作中确实存在语用失误,具体类别如下:词汇失误、句式失误、语态失误及篇章结构失误。通过分析文本中的语用失误情况及对有关语用失误的问卷调查分析,发现造成语用失误的原因有:缺乏文化意识、礼貌等级的忽视、言语行为使用的不恰当。基于研究结果与教学实际,本文最后对高中英语教学提出几点建议,希望能帮助学生减少或避免不必要的语用失误,提高高中生的英语书面表达能力。
[Abstract]:Language is a communicative tool, and successful communication requires not only solid language competence, but also good pragmatic competence. In foreign language teaching, teachers focus on language teaching and ignore the input of pragmatic knowledge. Therefore, pragmatic failures often occur in the process of practical writing. In recent years, researches on pragmatic failure have found that most scholars have turned their attention to pragmatic failures in oral communication of college students, while few have paid attention to pragmatic failures in written English expressions of senior high school students. In English writing style, practical writing has communicative function. The new curriculum has made specific demands on the expressive ability of high school students' English practical writing, and the appearance of pragmatic failure obviously runs counter to this. Therefore, combining the theory of pragmatic failure, the author analyzes the pragmatic failure of senior high school students in practical English writing. Taking high school students' English practical writing as the research object, this paper uses the method of text analysis and questionnaire to explore the types of pragmatic failure and the causes of pragmatic failure in high school students' English practical writing. Some suggestions on modern English teaching are put forward in order to improve students' pragmatic competence and reduce or avoid unnecessary pragmatic failure. It is found that pragmatic failures do exist in high school students' practical writing in the following categories: lexical errors, sentence errors, voice failures and text structure failures. By analyzing the situation of pragmatic failure in the text and the questionnaire survey on pragmatic failure, it is found that the causes of pragmatic failure are lack of cultural awareness, neglect of politeness level and inappropriate use of speech acts. Based on the research results and the teaching practice, this paper puts forward some suggestions on English teaching in senior high school in the hope that it can help students to reduce or avoid unnecessary pragmatic failures and improve their written English expression ability.
