一所城市初中的英语课外阅读实效性研究

  阅读是人们学习语言,获取知识和信息,促进思维发展的主要方式。国际阅读素养进展研究指出,10至13岁的青少年通过大量阅读多样性的材料获取知识,13岁以上的青少年可以根据不同的目的来阅读不同类型的材料。青少年的身心发展特点决定了阅读活动在初中时期是至关重要的。目前,英语课外阅读在中学受到越来越多的关注。本研究通过实验性的英语课外阅读课来指导学生阅读牛津书虫系列和21世纪英文报,并探究这种模式对学生阅读态度,阅读策略,阅读习惯和阅读测试表现的影响。本研究采用了问卷调查、访谈、阅读测试、收集作业等多种方法从不同角度对样本进行调查。云南师范大学实验中学八年级四班的51名学生完成了本次阅读情况问卷和阅读情况补充问卷。研究者对大学专家教师,该班的英语老师和不同英语水平的9名学生进行了访谈,收集了实验前后的英语月考阅读成绩,并对收集到的数据进行整理分析。研究结果表明,实验前,学生对英语课外阅读总体持积极态度,但他们并没有制定规律的阅读计划,在阅读策略的使用方面也还存在一定的问题。通过英语课外阅读课程,他们在阅读策略,阅读习惯和阅读能力,如:词汇量,阅读速度,阅读理解能力等方面有所提高。但是在实验前后他...
