基于建构主义的OCMET模块的初中英语教学实证研究

【摘要】：建构主义提倡以学生为中心,强调学生在真实的语言环境中,通过互动和合作,积极主动地建构知识。本文在建构主义的理论指导和221板块教学实践的启示下,提出了基于建构主义的OCMET模块教学方法。OCMET分别代表目标导示(Objective introduction),能力内容(Competence contents),方法探学(Method exploring),拓展学习(Expansive learning)和测试(Test)。这种英语教学方法强调在英语教学过程中,首先需要目标的指引,这样有助于有目的的学习。然后在教学过程中以学生为主体,采取多种教学方法的综合形式,建立有效的学习情境,让学生主动研究与探讨所学知识,并在教师的指导下得出相应结论。而后通过测试了解知识学习情况,并针对存在的问题进行巩固练习。此种教学方法是对英语综合技能整体的教学过程的研究,而非只针对阅读,词汇或写作等单独领域。本研究旨在解决以下两个问题,第一,基于建构主义的OCMET模块教学方法能否在英语学习过程中对培养学生情感因素方面(包括态度,动机和焦虑)起到积极作用?第二,基于建构主义的OCMET模块教学方法能否提高学生的英语成绩?本研究为期一个学期,采用了实验班和控制班对照的实验形式。98名初中二年级的学生参加了本次教学实践,其中实验班48人接受基于建构主义的OCMET英语教学模式;控制班50人则延续传统教学法教学。此项研究通过问卷及英语测试收集数据,使用SPSS软件对数据进行分析。实验结果表明:基于建构主义的OCMET英语教学模式在培养学生情感因素方面具有积极作用,即学生对英语学习的态度更加积极,英语的学习动机显著增强,同时对英语学习的焦虑感明显降低,从而有效地提高了学生的英语成绩。本研究意在为英语课程设计提供一定的实践参考依据。
